ME1 just got the frontier sci-fi atmosphere perfect. the music was great as well. I was really hoping MEA would be a modern AAA budget ME1 with the exploration and new frontier setting but it failed.

Fuck even the uncharted worlds in ME1 were enjoyable, really felt like the edge of civilisation.

Oh man those Mako missions were great. Just chilling trying to cheese the Mako over a mountain range to get minerals; only to get BTFO by some Dune style Sand-worm. Those auto saves though, fuck me.
