the standalone gwent is completely different from the witcher 3 gwent. the only thing that is the same is the board. cards have been completely reworked for multiplayer balance.

Not even once. Disturbances are minibosses, they'll kick your shit in when you don't have any upgrades yet.

Mining is entirely optional unless the story takes you there. It's how you get talismans, but talismans aren't at all necessary to play the game and you get some from side missions and challenges anyway. But they're pretty neat to collect and try and make good ones when you can fuse them.

Strange Gravitational Phenomena means a boss enemy is there, there's a trophy for beating that boss in each of the five mining sites. If it says there's a Gravity Storm that means you can go to the Mining Trench through a portal in the mine, which is something of an endurance challenge, and there's a trophy for getting to the third layer there.

I'll second and say the boss is pretty hard without upgrades. Not impossible though.

Some of the voices are quite good and fit their characters, like that guy who takes you in. But it's mostly the female voices so far that are terrible. Especially caroline and justine.

Honestly I can only play or watch something now a days in English if the voice actors actually care about their job. Most of the time English VAs just sound like they don't even want to be in the studio recording their voices

Because it's entry level. Just like even people who don't enjoy anime love stuff like death note or princess mononoke they love persona.

P4 scoring well is fucking beyond me; Garbage gameplay and mediocre story and cast.
But P5 scoring well doesn't surprise me one bit, it has the best dungeons I've played in a JRPG period, an actually likeable and well developed cast, and a fucking good story. Throw in a great soundtrack, fantastic art direction, and the ability to maintain its quality for 100 hours, and you've got a solid 94.

I think the Pro is a ripoff currently. If you're patient enough to wait for the price drops when Sony inevitably shits out a new PS4 model like a year or two from now the Pro might worth the price, especially if there's going to be more titles supported by the Pro upgrade but if you're buying it as a Niohbornebox, I'd get the Slim model and put the money you're saving on the purchase into building a better pc.
