Apparently not, the next reroll seems to give you at least one better quality item than what the crate first gave you. It doesnt seem to happen regularly but thats what happened to most of my rerolls.

If you reroll it is COMPLETELY new items. If you had a gold in your previous box it wont guarantee you an other legendary if you reroll. Rerolling worth it if you have only white (basic) things in the chest, or sht you REALLY dont want. These rules change by the type of box.

if you've been playing at all, you've already lost crates

if your have most heroes at level 5 you're losing crates.

Yes, is that a problem?

You're already losing crates past the first few levels or whatever. You'll lose the last of your 4 times faster earned crates when you hit hero level 9, and a guaranteed epic crate when you hit each hero level 8.

You lost crates the moment you got to level 2

The only way to get skins are from the loot boxes, whether it's by luck or shards. The current weekly sales will be converted into items sold through gems which are bought with real money.

Here is a list of the epic skins that are being changed to legendary quality in 2.0:

So these will all cost 1600 shards for each tint once they are changed to legendary quality in 2.0 instead of 400 shards. I do hope this doesn't mean that these characters will not receive actual legendary skins in the future because they have these epic skins taking up the legendary slot.

It seems like they should've been legendary in the first place. I wouldn't be worried, since they're more expensive you can probably expect a lot more legendary skins as a money sink. But of course only the popular characters are going to end up with more than one if they get one at all.

Well, what you're having now is potentially a driver issue. If you tested the game on the same PC but with a Nvidia card it'd work perfectly.

Alright so, what I don't get is, all this bitching about losing crates, but you have skins for everything you have now (which you totally do if your hero level is high), plus, you unlock all your tints.

Do people really give a bigger crap about getting gems and stuff to purchase heroes you already have? It's not like what we have is going anywhere, just the crates are new.

I'm going to hop on with pretty much all the skins and tints up, for all the heroes I give a crap about. Skins pop up about 1/5 loot boxes, and I'd only get 50 or so skins, even though I have far more unlocked now.

So why all the bitching because I don't get sprays or whatever? Anyone who plays overwatch knows that kinda loot sucks.

The new system involves granting players a loot box for a hero when they reach X level with that hero.

This is for new players only. Old players will not get the hero-specific boxes.

Yeah, but you already have the skins for the heroes you have unlocked, vets will have all the skins when they start off.

The basic color variants that are already in place will come with hero purchases in 2.0. Already owning a hero does not grant any kind of advantage.

All the future skins will be released exclusively through loot boxes also.
