the Alex buffs will do nothing to give him a presence, they went overboard on their nerfs and the "buffs" they've given to his moves are still subpar compared to his S1 moves and data.

The story was a botch job. The fun of sf lore was the changes that get carried from game to game, but the only character that changed was Karin since alpha 3. Also, Charlie and Bison should have fought to a standstill. Ryu has so little connection to Bison anymore that the fight felt pointless.
