So I got an animated copy of this and Worldwielder Ginger. Are either of them worth keeping? Ginger really looks like she needs to be vialed. I've heard a few people say that Dark Jeanne could be good in storm haven though.

Urd is used in a bunch of decks, you see Cerb in a lot of Shadow decks and Eachtar is fun as shit. Great value/10

There are metrics to gauge if a card has potential to become more useful.

Though basically it's just asking if there's currently cards just more useful than it or is it unique.

Several legendaries got this treatment already with enhance golds including Erasmus. Secrets of Erasmus gives you a standard removal card with the option to just play Erasmus and is far less of a dead card. Pluto is also a safe vial due to the existence of Pact.

Another example is Skullfane who is now pretty much a 100% safe vial due to Eidolon obsoleting him.

Fairy Princess however doesn't have any direct replacements. While Forest has a lot of fairy gen, she still does it best and also has the benefit of filling your hand 100%. Forest played well though doesn't need so much fairies and prefers mana-cheated fairies over plain ones. Fairy Princess could potentially become far better if more cards making use of fairies like Rose Queen are implemented, but who knows what expansion that will be.

Atomy is one of the most unique cards in the game. He's basically an 8/8 that can be mana cheated with the downside of costing your board. As more ways to mitigate that downside came about, he became better and better. Bone Chimera and Voices of Resentment gave him a slight nudge. Elta, Mammoth, and Catacomb made him riskless to play.

Basically, just look at a card and judge how unique or powerful its use is and what prevents it from being played now. Fafnir and Zirnitra are cards that were outright powercreeped due to having plain uses and are pretty much safe vials at this point. Cards like Minthe and Anomaly however are just begging for combo potential down the line if proper support is given.

What deck was this? Sounds cool. We should fix it up.
