Speed limit in Florida is 70 even though most people drive at 80 to 90

>speed limit in Florida is 70 even though most people drive at 80 to 90
>people slow down to 55 when passing by a Florida highway patrol

>doesn't know that slowing down is an admission of guilt

This. Engine brake if you must, brake lights turn you into a target. They know you know you did something wrong.
>doing 75 in a 55
>cop passes me
>don't slow down
>he turns around and stops me
>did you know how fast you were going etc etc
>claim my car doesn't have cruise control and I was kind of zoning out so I didn't realize my speed had increased
>he literally says "well you didn't even slow down after I passed so I wondered what was up"
>lets me off with a warning to pay attention and drive safe

>radar detectors work like a time machine
Idiot. If they caught you speeding, the brake lights are literally irrelevant.

Under a certain point, all that matters is the cop's attitude towards you. If you seem genuinely innocent and apologetic he might choose not to ruin your month with a speeding ticket. Brake lights admit to him immediately you knew you were wrong and sped anyway, and the chance of him letting you off is now far less.

ORRRR they tell the cop, "I didn't realize I was speeding until I passed a fucking cop and looked at my speedo."

T. A cop.

Your butthurt doesn't change the fact it worked for me. I'm not lying, the greentext happened.
>t. a cop
So the one I encountered was a more considerate person than you I guess. Stay mad you fucking powertripping highschool dropout.

it isn't though

>Florida
Found the problem

>drive to/from home in the middle of the night cause it's a 7 hour drive
>cruise always set 5-10 over limit
>usually pass 3 patrol cars
>never slow down
>never been stopped

Alternatively,

>driving around town
>everyone going 5 over the limit
>cop gets into traffic
>everyone slows to a crawl
>keep going 5 over
>end up maintaining constant distance with cop cause they're going over, too

I guess cops have better things to do than to pull people over for minor speeding, assuming you don't drive like an idiot.
