Is there any reason to use my leaguestones in a party? I'm playing with friends and have accumulated quite a few of these things but the main reward from most of them seem to discourage partying; you're only going to get one essence/talisman/etc no matter what.

Are there any that are best saved for partying?

Obviously ones like onslaught and rampage

How do you maximise Shaped Strand Drops? Simply don't ever run any other tier-11 maps? But tier-10s and tier-12s are okay, right?

by default, yes, all fire damage can ignite.Flame surge for example says on the gem "cannot ignite". If there's no such thing on scorching ray then yes it will ignite

Hmm, scorching ray doesn't technically hit does it, so it can't actually set them on fire. I Think it has it's own debuff for that reason

And yeah I've shaped and ran Mesa, nice map and worth it I think.

So no other 11s, and no 12s. But 13 and beyond is fine. Got it.

So I'm currently running a Soul Mantle and a single Kikazaru in my shitty EK totems build and I was wondering, would it be worth it to give up the other ring slot for a 2nd Kikazaru? I haven't gotten to maps yet but I'm worried I might be annihilated once I get into a dangerous map.

I don't play totems but I still look at builds/guides and such. It seems to be common to see dual-Kikazaru with Soul Mantle builds. I don't see why not, if you're sticking with that build and can afford to.

What uniques jewels are you using?

Who else already quit legacy because it was boring as fuck, burned out from PoE and will only play next league to check out the reskinned acts for a week, then leave again?

I'm only running a self-flagellation jewel and the Ring of Blades jewel for the fan of knives effect, can't really think of any other important jewel since I kind of suck and this is the first time I've tried to make my own build.

I'd get bored with the league very fast if I didn't set up goals for myself, like "6 link this" or "reach x ES" or shit like that. The game itself isnt that interesting after 2500 hours but I have nothing better to play

Scorching Ray never is actively dealing damage. It is applying a debuff that is dealing damage over time, but never actually hitting. Anything that requires a hit to function will not work with Scorching Ray.

I think it still benefits from nodes that say "burning damage" but I might be wrong on that.
