I'm pretty sure I'm mostly bottlenecked by my CPU. It's pretty old at this point, and it definitely can't keep up with a 1070 in Skyrim. Toggling most graphical effects barely even affects my framerate.
Im having some trouble with asis all of a sudden, I installed some new mods and wanted to rerun the asis patcher but it says: "this patcher requires the following mods please activate them: asis-dependency.esp" I have the asis-dependency in my load order according to nmm & the skyrim game if i go to data files. Anyone know what might have caused this or how I get asis to recognize the dependency.esp ?

Oblivion has been pretty comfy so far. The writing is a lot better too. The only thing that's worse besides the visuals obviously has been the dungeons. Skyrim's were very samey too but at least a lot of them had a little story in them. Oblivion's are just the same things with little to no loot inside as well. Is this true on the whole or have I just had bad luck so far?
Are there any great mods for SE that are not on the nexus? I lost my ssd the other day with everything on it so I'm currently trying to rebuild it.

Yeah, Oblivion dungeons are extremely samey. But Oblivion also has the best overhauls if you want to look into that. Maybe not for the first playthrough so you can appreciate what they add.
