i´ve been pretty much effortlesly winning with him and losing whenever i dont have a lex in my team against a team that does have lex

He deals ridiculous damage, they should've make him a damage champion since he's as mobile as Cassie.

All flanks should have at least vertical mobility tbqh.

>ult that instant kills/ effects multiple enemies at once
he is a damage character
plus his gimmick of gaining more credits does nothing significant while needlessly rewarding the lex for doing what he should be doing anyway
also his target mechanic is god awful as it's A random with a long cooldown, so impossible to rely on as a tool to oust flanks or supports and B punishes
also also his target mechanic is the least fun ability and most poorly thought of ability in the game, there is zero counterplay to being seen through walls and you are severely punished with this effect if you successfully kill him
managing to fend off and kill a flanker should be very punishing for them, they're intended to be more of glass cannons with high burst not meant for prolonged direct combat like the damages so getting caught out will be their worst nightmare
lex is more effective as an antiflank than a flank himself and if someone catches him out and kills him they get punished for it, doubly so if they're flank because it becomes impossible to play your role if you are permanently visible
if he plays in a party can just start up some 3rd party teamspeak service to tell everyone where his target is rendering one of his legendaries completely obsolete and the slide one is worthless considering you could just boost your damage with the other while staying more flexible
nothing about this character seems alright, no matter where you look there are big problems

maeve just had way too much sustain and burst making her harder to kill than buck and hit harder than evie with a lot less skill required
lex is a damage dealer with basically no falloff and a broken ult and awful reveal gimmick

How many characters i should be using to be effective? at first glance i like maeve,buck and cassie

Good on certain maps, sitting duck on open ones.

Have a character in each role that you like.

You should pick a role and stick to it but branch out to try your counter. Most of the time, there' a clearly superior option so learn 2 champions per role would be sufficient.
