Birthright is a good entry level route. Even though I love Conquest way more I would suggest birthright first. Not only is it a good entry point to familiarize yourself with some of the new mechanics and gameplay, coming off Conquest Birthright is EZ AS FUCK even in hard mode so.

I've played a ton of Advance Wars, so maybe I have some experience? I've been told Advance Wars was something Nintendo made because they were afraid Fire Emblem wouldn't sell so good in America. So they redid design and story with tanks and guns to appeal to us Fatmericans.

I bought this game knowing the story was bad. I heard the gameplay is really fun though and like I said to the other post it is similar to Advance Wars which I love (and miss since it's dead). Although, Wargroove is suppose to be a spiritual successor to it but I don't know when it's coming out.

His A skill is already great. Quick Riposte should be a good B skill since he's pretty tanky and slow. Noontime will proc faster than Sol also. Or you can get an offensive proc like Moonbow, Draconic Aura, or Bonfire.
