It's been 17 years since the 90s ended

Was the 90s the best era of car design?

We are talking exterior looks only.

60s were do they rank?
What about the 80s?
Are 70s and 00s underated?

>We are talking exterior looks only.
kek, you already knew where this was headed you fucker

Body lines are beauty

Bad interiors is like putting up with a girl who is just a little hard to live with...

But who cares she's a fucking 10 with all the right curves!!!

>Bad interiors is like putting up with a girl who is just a little hard to live with...
Yeah until you have to pay for the sagging headliner and the sun-cracked dashboard

>complaining about age related wear on a 20 year old car

Headliners are easy to do yourself anyways, as are most dashes.

Bad interiors are a fucking dealbreaker. I don't want to stare at rattling, ash grey hard plastic for two hours a day. Absolutely positively do get fucked.

98-99

60s>50s>90s>70s>80s
>tfw no more chrome, bench seats, or popups

kys boomer

yes op

If I took my nostalgia goggles off for a second and were to be honest, a lot of the cars from the 90's look like bars of soap. Like...a lot. Even the exotics.

And I'm saying this as someone who's favorite cars are all from the 90's.

If we were to be even more brutally honest with ourselves, even the racing of that era could be summarized as racing regulations being fucking retarded and what lead to the power house cars of that era.

So meh. It's a toss up.

80s is best in my opinion
90s has a lot of good exteriors
00s have a few gems

50s and 90s a best.

...

90s > 60s >80s s >70s

Cringey

Is everyone implying the Viper interior is bad?

It's a 20+ year old Chrysler
But it was ugly back in 96

>supercars

>First gen

beauty, fuck "purists"

>if we ignore the shitty one's they aren't shitty

The viper had garbage interior for the cost. The AC panel was from a fucking neon.

I love the shit out of this car and I'd be very happy with it in my life as its definitely on my top 20 somewhere, but to use it as an example of 90s design beauty is... ambitious, at best

Truly. This looks like the people in charge said "give me an interior. Really any interior will do" and then let the accounting team redo it

I thought i was the only one who found that particular Porsche model attractive, it has a very feminine aura to it, i love it

The first gen was designed in the 80's

even the facelift was a step in the wrong direction imo, the original 996 just looks so sleek.

all the negative stigma comes from it being too similar to the boxster, fucking wannabe poseurs driving great cars just because they are expensive, it's sad really.

The 90's gave us the best Impalas

First gen is still my favorite gen. Literally fight me.

Best decade since the late 60's yes but not the best decade.

Every non-diablo post in this thread belongs to a faggot

>80 car design
>Bad
Pick one

>Are 70s and 00s underated?
Yes
Give my left nut if shitboxes could look like this again

What was that you were saying?

I wish cars still had gauges.

>viper came out in 92
>neon in 95
>viper uses neon switchgear from the future
Really made me think.

Late 60s/ Early 70s was the pinnacle of cars, music, film, and design.

Wrong. Heat wasn't filmed until the 90's.

Gonna have to disagee and say 89s wee better

...was the pinnacle of capitalism*

I have the biggest boner for the 996 C4S. That center reflector strip just makes it look like pure sex.

60s 80s 90s

Everything else is shit

Better the deep red everything interiors of the 80s. And 90s cars from good manufacturers don't crack to shit from the sun.

90s>70s>2000s>2010s>80s
Anything older than that is irrelevant

This.

Exterior: 90s > 80s > 60s > 10s sports cars > 70s > 00s/10s

Interiors: 10s > 80s > 60s > 90s > 70s
