Lexus has made only two decent cars in it's entire existence, the first two gens of the LS400 and the original IS300. On the whole, it's a bad thing that their cars are so we'll built because you see enormous amounts of ghetto trash driving clapped out 20 year old Lexus junkers that refuse to die. So much so that Lexus immediately associates with middle class Jews and poor blacks in my mind. Bought some LEDs for the interior and gonna buy an aftermarket radiator when I decide which one is best. Wanna get this shrockworks bumper when I can afford one.

The car was made and designed in the USA, there probably wasn't too much R&D to being with, hell the paddle-shifters feel and sound like cheap plastic. They obviously cut corners.

Solid as fuck car for sure. Owned it a bit over a year and literally the only maintenance done was oil change. I avoid Lexus dealer like the plague.

At least it didn't drop transmissions using launch control during release like some cars i know. other cars like the MP4-C had fancy looking (but fragile) stuff in them.

Lets be real here, Honda is a Shitbox Manufacturer. there stuff just won't cost as much as Mclaren's and because they are a shitbox manufacturer they have developed their own electronics and systems that are tried and tested thanks to their experience making shitboxes.

Even Ford when they made the 05 Ford GT they are also a shitbox manufacturer and when something goes wrong it won't cost you a shit-ton and from what i heard hardly anything went wrong anyway(inb4 clarkson's shitty alarm meme).

That's the benefit of buying from a shitbox manufacturer. may not be the prettiest or the most luxurious but all their stuff is a lot easier to replace and won't cost as much and because they've made stuff like this before countless times it'll last longer.

I don't know how much better newer Mclaren's are than the mp4-c but i don't expect them to be cheaper to run.
