I have this SNEAKING suspicion that when they tested out "Play the same minion 4 times", or "Play 4 of the same minion", people were too dumb to get it and thought they had to literally play Swashburglar #1 four times, by bouncing it back to their hand. And that Swashburglar #2 wouldn't count towards the quest so they wouldn't play it.

So thats why they had to akwardly name it "Play 4 minions with the same name", even though it isnt as easy to write it that way. But people are dumb.

TGT introduced original characters first, without putting too much the emphasis on them thematically. League of Explorers was the first to make central original characters. WOTOG was more classic. One Night in Kharazan definitively broke up with the Warcraft origins. Mean Streats of Gadgetzan marked the new style of Hearthstone. All sets starting from MSoG will follow the same rules.

Gadgetzan is the real event in Hearthstone history, I think.
