F1 and NASCAR

If you had to choose one to drive, which would it be, Veeky Forums?

F1...

The one that goes straight when I not turning the wheel

I'm gonna be the guy to actually say NASCAR. An F1 car is an incredible piece of engineering, but I have driven very fast vehicles on road courses before. I've never driven a purpose built oval car on an oval, however, and I think that'd be cool.

Rally, at least its challenging

What was the name of that weird 90s or 2000s NASCAR that had some kind of advantage and blew the field the fuck out and they banned it and ceased it to use for educational purposes.

Give me that or a Charger Daytona NASCAR.

Not really a fan or new F1 or new NASCAR though. new F1 the cars are almost identical in shape and approach with non of the 6 wheeled fan powered craziness of earlier F1. now its just John Quincy Adams in his Mercedes beating Luigi in his Ferrari and Luigi goes hope and cries into his Pizza dough because he can't figure out how to squeeze out that extra 10 HP that the Mercedes has or whatever so he can put down faster millisecond lap times for a possible overtake so he just sits back in 2nd or 3rd waiting for the golden opportunity that a fly might fart and screw up the aerodynamics so the Mercedes takes the corner slightly slower giving him a chance to finally pass after god knows how many races.

NASCAR has the same problem with the cars being too close in performance with rules killing anything interesting like the Aero Wars of the late 60s although its more down to driver who wins rather than car so there's more overtaking and dramatic body-contact.
>DISCLAIMER
>armchair knowledge of both NASCAR and F1

lol dudes Nascar looks like where the fun is at. And you'd be a rockstar to all the rednecks now matter how bad you are at it.

Also
>rubbin is racin

NASCAR

dont even have to think about it

To drive?
A nascar, simple mechanical work for simple cars vs high performance engineering that requires more than just an oil change
To race?
F1
>rally
>challenging
I bet when the bus driver makes a turn you grab on ti the seat because you can't handle the g forces

F1 easily

>Redneck daisy duke wearin pussy or super model high maintenance euro pussy?

That is the real question you're asking.

I can't decide

NASCAR and it's not close. Closer competition and anyone can realistically win on any day. Your team has a shit engine in F1 and you can be a back of pack placeholder for years while your team holds bake sales trying to get another billion dollars to get competitive again. Then your car becomes good and they completely change the rules again. F1 has been horrible for years, it's like they can't figure out if it's supposed to be a drivers series or constructors series so they just make it the worst possible combination.

NASCAR without a doubt. Those races are just like big fucking fast bumper car races. You can race hard as fuck at 180 mph and dump faggots into the wall and nobody gets hurt or dies. NASCAR is kind of cool.

a road course setup nascar
>800-900 hp
>decent handling
>manual transmission with a clutch and stick
>does killer burnouts
>no driver aids or nannies
>no faggoty DRS rules and KERS rules

nascar. f1 is boring

What happens when a NASCAR driver sees this?

I would say F1, but indycar is way more competitive. also Watkins glen

shit gets fun

f1 because I'm blessed with more than a single brain cell

GT >>>>>>>>>>>>>NASCAR >> F1

NASCAR because it's much purer. Simply speaking it's a bunch of hoons pushing each other around at 200 mph in crude pushrod V8 powered tube frame. F1 cars are unintelligible rocket science, feel like piloting a surgery and the whole race experience is ruined by rules and regulations about refueling, fuel mileage, overtaking and God knows what other shit.

Raise hell.

>take a turn
>pass out from g-forces, crash into a wall and die

That was so beautiful it almost made me cry

Top kek

Didnt nascar go to japan once?

>fake headlights

NASCAR. A lot more opportunities to be competitive, more career opportunities to stay at top level competition in general.

You could be one of the best drivers in the world and if you don't have the funding or you don't manage to drive your way onto a competitive team, you'll be nothing. Though there's always a chance to end up in Prototype's or GT cars for a factory team at least.

Yes, they did an exhibition race though.

>Mike Skinner's spotter: "Yeah goddamnit! We beat that little sonuvabitch [Jeff Gordon]!"

Good ole boys.

>Drive F1 car
>Actually go too slow for the car's aero to work in the corners
>Crash and die

>Drive NASCAR car
>Go too fast for the car's aero to keep up with the g's
>Crash and die

NASCAR
Just from playing racing sims I have more fun doing oval races than I do F1.

This pretty much.

i dunno.

maybe F1 for the fucking drama

i'd stir shit with alonzo and make him cry and be the big bitch drama queen he is.

or maybe NASCAR, because there's less requirements. in F1 they have you on a perfect diet of nothing because you have to weigh exactly nothing.

NASCAR seems like the safer car DESU
