So I'm finally getting around to installing the Lune Elf game, but I seem to be having issues using the 2DJ crack. Just to make sure I'm doing it correctly, I put the two pac files in that game data folder, and NOT the .exe in that same folder, correct? I've tried using the .exe in multiple different ways after reinstalling the game, but it never seems to launch using the cracked one.

I've tried that as well and running the .exe (after reinstalling the game cause I forgot to back up the original .exe the first time). Game just doesn't start up period, unless I'm supposed to just run the .exe outside of the data folder (because it bypasses the playdrm) and I'm retarded.

Are you clicking on the crack .exe to start the game with both cracks you have to click on the crack .exe not the game .exe to start the game. All crack files go in the gamedata folder.

Yes, I put all the crack files in the game folder, double click the crack .exe to start up the game, but nothing ever happens. Tis why I am so confused. (Tried running as admin too. Just gonna redownload the crack in case I don't have a different version or something.)

I'll list some things they are saying
1 - People are calling the writing garbage (literally using the Japanese word for garbage) and boring, like, a lot. Some people are calling those haters of a particular writer on the team (same guy who wrote spooky pregnant school), but there's enough people calling it boring and filled with too much protagonist narration + pointless story (dark elf war) that it's probably not just haters.

1.5 - It's also worth noting that there was a controversy in that the trial had a scene that was just copy/pasted word for word from an older game, indicating there may be a writer on the team who doesn't really care and is just modifying old scenes.
2 - Perhaps due to 2chan threads on eroge being organized per company or by individual game, most people on the lune thread are fans of older lune games, and are subsequently complaining about how vanilla the game is, with one user wishing that the protagonist had been a fat loser, and others saying they wish the theme of the game was forcibly breeding with them and making a harem instead of the elves throwing themselves at you.
2.5 - Some people are saying "okay now that you're done with this vanilla shit lune, please get on a sequel for Aku no Onna with Nagisa art". In other words, the vanilla setting is not very appreciated.
3 - Many people are saying they were weirded out with how obsessive the script got with purity and all the girls being devoted to one guy (namely the seal on Evelyn's abdomen).
4 - I'm sure a certain someone here will be happy to here that one user complained about a lack of paizuri despite all the giant breasts.

In conclusion. A fucking lot more complaining about writing than here. Not nearly as overwhelmingly positive.Most of the praise is directed at Nagisa, not the game.

Both the cg artist and character illustrator have fucked up perspective drawings from day one.

I read Tsumamigui 3 and it was kind of bad so I dunno. But really there are two kinds of people critiquing the writing, those mentioning the writer by name and those critiquing the writing in general. I think the latter half at least aren't haters. There's really a lot of complaints about the writing. The only thing that may be haters are those who mention the writer in particular with a vendetta.

Its pretty disappointing to be honest, the way they changed the story around for part 1 makes the narrative a mess. And for some reason they decided to just plain cut some of Claudia's scenes, and its not because of the content they contained because they left worse ones in the game. Atleast they didnt cut any Dark Elf scenes.
