i like playing this game but the community is so elitist and fucking annoying. i was a top 8 masters player in hots but i bought lotv after a long break. i just wanted to relive some of the fun i had but people are so rude and bm on ladder. i lose games, playing like shit, and don't know the build orders because the starting workers changed. losing isn't the problem for me, but having to deal with GG EZ U FUCKING NOOB FUCK U every game just reminds me why i quit in the first place.

is there a way to mute all chats in the game? i don't want to have to pause and mute enemy every time i queue, i'd just like it to be auto-muted

think whatever you like. i have been "high ranked" in both games now and the starcraft community has genuinely been much worse in terms of toxicity. the community has a bad attitude. even if you leave the game after being flamed, the person can whisper you immediately after and spam you until you block them. it already feels bad to lose the game, but having people laugh at your play and harass you makes the experience infinitely worse. at least you can easily mute people in league of legends and the community likes to play instead of type.
