I have a timeline theory and its probably garbage (as most are), but what if this is a "Ganon wins" scenario from Wind Waker? He got what he wanted, and this was the Hyrule that was originally submerged, and he gained incredible power from getting his wish from the triforce.

The reason its so mountainous and the landscape is so dynamic is because the peaks used to be the islands, and a lot of the ground eroded when it was underwater.

It would explain why there is Rito in this timeline, and why things only referenced in the adult timeline still happened.

(If you're gonna use the "twilight" line to debunk this, we don't know when the Twili were sealed in the first place, that could have happened before the original split at Ocarina)

Zora to Rito in WW happened in 100 years

BotW is 10000 years after the Guardian war, we have no idea how long it's set from the last Zelda game in it's timeline. Rito, Zora, and any other race has had way more than enough time to evolve and it's surprising that no new races exist instead.

Ganon could have never gotten his wish granted, for he's never in balance and doesn't have a pure heart, he would have only gotten the triforce broken again and delayed the inevitable.

Twilight line only happens in the NOA script, NOE and NOJ scripts mention Alltp and WW.

Twili were banished to the shadow realm way before OoT happened.

Why would there need to be? You have races occupying all available territory and not in conflict with one another for resources because their habitat is fairly inhospitable to others but similar enough in desires and appetites that trade relationships are possible

How are y'all keeping the game difficult? I just started a new playthrough and so far I've decided not to bring my total armor rating above 20, I'm not fast travelling, and I'm also only exchanging spirit orbs whenever I have 6 as opposed to 4. What else should I do to keep the game fresh?

The reason this thread is filled with Gerudo Link is because it's a part of the fucking game and something the developers chose to put in, not some fan-made bullshit that people would actually have clause to be upset about. Fair enough. Although I do agree that the pre-dungeon segments were pretty good, and that Thunderblight was a good fight, I just didn't particularly enjoy the dungeons themselves.

I enjoyed them just fine, but they certainly won't be in a "best dungeon" contest.

What I did love about them was the music, the atmosphere and the fight before, except for Rudania which didn't have a fight or good music for that segment.

I just enjoyed knowing how stupidly big the divine beasts are and how open the world felt, and man looking down on Hyrule while on Vah Medo was amazing.
