Would an ej205 fit in my honda prelude? any engine swap ideas? Cause im buying an engine

would an ej205 fit in my honda prelude? any engine swap ideas? Cause im buying an engine

No you're not.

even if it's an h im buying one cause my engine is fukt

why would you swap a shitty Subbie engine into anything

thats how we know its bait

no one is that stupid except for VW guys

everyone else knows you go with a H23 VTEC

Why.
>No transmission tunnel
>No room between shock towers
>Need custom engine mounts
>Need a diff
>Need custom diff mounts
>Need custom driveshaft
>Need custom hubs
>Need custom CV axles
>Shitty engine

Why would you swap a great engine for a shitty one?

Not OP, but H series are ass. They're heavy as all fuck and burn oil like mad, even for a Honda.

Maybe he should just buy a Honda engine instead of a shitty Subaru engine

yeah that whole 30 lbs over a B series is crazy

nevermind the extra power and torque

Are you referencing the honda-tech post where the guy compared an H22 (without balance shafts) to a B16? All without weighing ancillary components, transmissions, or wet weight?

The full h22 assembly is 80 pounds heavier than than a b18.

turbo 13b connected to k series trans. do it.

so still literally nothing

nice to know

H has more potential too

no replacement for displacement

That's 20% more weight over the front wheels on a front heavy platform you massive faggot.

So just remove spare tire, tools and maybe backseats to counter weight gain

you the kind of dipshit thatd swap in a shit engine to save weight

thats like a 4% increase on something like a Civic lmao

fucking nothing you benchracing fucktard

and holy shit a D series is 100 lbs lighter than a B series

why the fuck would you ever swap one?

we should all be running single cammers goddamnit think of the weight!

when I swapped the d15z1 in my hatch to a turbo b18 and all the trimmings the weight was very noticeable compared to the d series. IMO I think it was enough difference that if the D and it's transmission was as capable at the time of my build then it would've stayed.

Considering civics run 60-40 weight biases stock, that is a lot. I actually like to take my cars to the track and have in fact owned a prelude. The engine is fine for dailying, but nobody cares about it because nobody cares about making power under 3k rpm while burning oil to get there - all while actually weighing a shitload more. No sane fucking person swaps an H series into anything unless its for drag (fwd lol).

Why bring up a fucking d series? Do you really need to strawman that hard to feel better about yourself? I get the feeling youre the bench racer here.

sorry user

youre the dumbass obsessing over weight

dont act like its irrelevant just because it btfos your tarded argument

stay mad fgt

Did your gf dump you for a B18, user? Tell us how you really feel.

:eyeroll

good damage control you got there

>b series
>shit
>can make 400+whp on stock internals
>h22's break ringlands on 7psi

wrong

never called B series shit either

but thats not impressive at all in any way shape or form (even my 80s SOHC can do 440whp on stock internals while making more torque than a 800whp Honda lmao) and a H22 can do it just fine
