The issue is that the human body did not evolve that way. You're forcing it to live in a certain way and it DOES have consequences. There are links between weak immune systems and veganism, as well as skin, hair, nail, and other problems. They're relatively minor and it's not a big deal (especially in Canada, Europe, or America).

Humans are too slow and tire too easily to be stamina hunters. They compensated for their relative frailty with intellect and cooperation.
