Rune is the worst. Dshit can't deal with Shadow, dirt got completely erased by Dragon, and Daria can't beat either of them. They don't have a fast aggro deck or even memefrog to limp along with. Hulk isn't awful, but Cygames made sure their new legends wouldn't matter much this meta.
Dirt Burn isnt that bad. I think Forest is in the worst spot right now.

If we go by Shadowlogs, Forest is 3rd best class in terms of winrate. Now, playrates are another thing. Forest is really boring, it hasn't changed at all, it's really sad. It was the case in RoB, and it hasn't changed in ToG, at least for now.
I like this one better. I can't really imagine a mid range being good without Phantom Howl.

That's actually pretty clever, well memed user.
It has questionable card choices and 0 draw, if I was going to run this list I would just transform it into full on aggro since thats what it looks like was used as a base.
Phantom Howl is a great card and it isnt something I wanted to cut, but after playing a bunch of games I realized it was a dead card more often than not. Mid Shadow has so many ways to flood the board you almost never get value out of it, yes you give up your Cerb+Howl combo, but I havent felt like ive missed it in this deck.
If you must have some storm ghosts try out Voices of Resentment instead, that way it can double as a ward removal in the late game.
They released this card in the same set as big guy. They really don't want dirt to be good. Hulking Giant effect should be "can't be destroyed by card effect" instead of "can't be targeted". 12/12 big guy getting killed by bane/ random removal is so frustating.
Hold up, once Roost is usable again you could use Zell and OTK from hand with that. No good way to tutor it all though.
Aerin is an incredible card, probably one of the best in the entire set. Fairy Queen as a 1 of is always good too. Besides that nothing for them changed, which is fine because WolfBolt still does 18 damage for minimal effort and roach combos are as strong as ever.
Until a rotation happens Forest will never not be good, the only reason it doesn't see play is because it's boring and Dragon punishes control decks so hard that it's not even worth trying to experiment with CForest right now.
