someone should make a loot game with cute anime girls already

getting bored of grimdark and playing as dykes

We do have Lost Ark and Lineage Eternal coming out at some point.

Though they're topdown MMORPGs than ARPGs.

*cracks open a cold one*
heh... time to push solo self found hardcore ladder...

*rips*

*exploits*

slayerilla suurin culli

Is there literally any reason to play Scion other than that you get to play as the qt grill?

The ascendancy options you get are really fucking bad compared to most builds, and ultimately all of the builds I'm interested in seem to save like 5-8 passives at very best by going Scion. Some save like fucking 2.

>cute anime shotas
fixed desu.

Last time I played the game was in open beta. I just installed the game again and I would like a build that can aoe things fast and make explosions be somewhat awesome , just to test the waters and experience the new things. Mainly I want a build that works good enought for solo self found that will be proved an awesome experience without having me trying to min-max alone that much and missing out on the new things that they have implemented after all these years. What do you suggest ? Something melee would be awesome too. Thanks in advance !

Blade Flurry is the fotm for melee. Link it with focused aoe, ias, physical damage, physical damage on full life if you're CI, and crit whatever benefits your build most.

Or """"""""""""melee""""""""""""" as /poeg/ would put it.

CI is considered superior to life builds, but if you're playing self found you'll take a while to get that ES.

game has massively changed since then
unfortunately, 2.6 majorly nerfed AoE and killing the entire screen in one click

if you want to blow shit up with melee, go duelist slayer, use infernal blow with herald of ash but it's not that good unless you have facebreakers

mana MoM tank

dream fragments x2
atziri's foible
pledge of hands
spirited response x2
battle rouse

you forgot aylardex, relic cloak of defiance and hierophant ascendancy

only if your special snowflake build wants 2 gutted ascendancy classes and another starting build to work with on the tree

scion is ok for crit totem builds because assassin gives 1% base crit and hierophant + essence crafted helmet give you effectively a 6l

>current characters in legacy: lv73/90/90/87
>the lv73 is the newest one, made because I was bored
>end up not liking it and thinking about another build
I think I'm burning out. The two 90 ones can do maps up to t15 fine but arent "fun" to play for a while. I have no idea what to make now, it seems I just cant grind maps without getting bored after an hour or so.

Anyone got some fun and still somewhat good build ideas?

play SSF, or quit

no one wants to hear about your casual characters and feeling "burnt out" because you played for 3 days total

Is catposter single?

he's in relationship with a man

>AoE nerfs
What was GGG thinking when they decided to do this? Melee skills were already inferior, and now there is barely any reason to play them except for niche characters like Jugger EQ labfarmers.

>2.6 majorly nerfed AoE and killing the entire screen in one click

my ice shot raider clears 3 screens in one click tho?

>melee is bad
is this reddit hour

hello catposter

I want to marry catposter

>melee is bad
>life is bad
>ES is overpowered
>vaal pact is overpowered
>i, an unemployed berniebro, can balance this incredibly technically complex game better than the people who created it

is anyone crashing constantly since the start of 2.6? it seems like it's primarily when i go into a hideout, but it does happen when entering towns/maps as well

game ran flawlessly up until this league and now i can't go a day without crashing. being an aurabot, i spend more time reactivating all of my auras than actually mapping

try turn off multi threading

i'll give it a shot. thanks

>be me
>play poe
>2.4k hours later find mirror
>rent Skyforth and HH with mirror as collateral from guildy
>absolutely disgusting fun for a while
>lose interest after 80ish maps
>return gear
>get mirror back
>lose all desire to play poe hc, sc,std, ssf or do challenges

What is wrong with me /poeg/?

Is there any guide for newbs around? I am a bit overwhelmed with the game. Should I just play around with a character, mess it up, and then start again following a guide? Started an archer by the way

just quit now

sounds like standard issue burnt out. find yourself a new build that's interesting and fun to play or just take a minute and do something else for awhile until that spark comes back bb

what do you give a man who has everything

yes. get as far as you can without the help of guides. see if you can figure out and understand the mechanics of how skills interact with each other and try and make something work. when your character inevitably fails, remake another and be more efficient.

you'll take more away from the game if you dedicate yourself to learning the core gameplay and mechanics before following some idiots build blindly

>play around with a character, mess it up, and then start again following a guide?
yeah, that's about right

when it comes to guides you probably want to stick to ones from streamers. not saying streamers are the de-facto best players, but they do know what they're doing while any random guide from the forums will probably be made by an idiot who pumped 10ex into their gear to make a garbage setup barely able to complete a red map or 2 key uber runs

more like what does he give me ;^)

Ty user you sound like a cool bro irl

thanks

>burnout
lel
I've been doing nothing but cycloning over a year with the same setup every time and am still having fun

what are the odds of getting busted with poesmoother?

I know your thrill. Ive been playing necromancers in d2 since 2001 (even to this day) and summoners in poe since beta. I cant stop.

50%

>people believe life and armour or eva are completely unusable despite the fact they have never done it
>people believe that most skills are unusable despite never using them
>people believe that if you can't shield charge your way through a shaped strand in 40 seconds 50 times a day, your build is unplayable

>these are the people who have no concept of actually making builds or understanding why things do or do not work because all they do is follow streamer guides and parrot shit they have heard with no understanding or context

...

Don't ever find a guide by browsing poe forums.

can someone explain why I have 5 fps in areas with ground effects

>they tested on their one machine

shitty optimization by ggg

runs fine on NASA computers so it should run on ours - GGG logic

started playing 3 days ago, just got a little bit into act 4, mostly using frost shot thing with fork, life steal and lesser projectiles and a ice bomb spell totem with attack speed

any tips or things that could be fun and I should look out for?

Get every life node you can reasonable path towards

I hope you aren't using attack speed on a spell totem
buy a couple omen on the winds jewels and get rid of that fork when you put them in your skill tree.

what about ghost reaver?

>tfw no piety gf i can watch get fucked by karui bulls

Unless you're going full es it's not woth it.

glad you could join us /tv/
hope you brought some crab legs too

your build is shit

is my build shit?

>unironic hierophant for FREE 5-links and end charges
>YUGE ele weapon damage
>YUUUUUGE mana pool for kitava's feast
>life/es hybrid
>theorycrafted 400k dps

Of course it is, he is brand new to a complex game. Everyone's first build was utter shit.

But if he just keeps playing, learning form mistakes and always trying new things he will likely end up making better and better builds. This is how you progress and succeed.

When you get shit that lets you summon multiple golems, do those golems have to be of different types, or can you just summon multiple with a single gem?

Unfortunately so. I mean if you can't even upload an image properly, I don't have much hope for your build.

what would you recommend going for anyhow? evasion? armor/es? pick whatever has the best rare stats?

i'm doing srs necro in ssfhc

was thinking of making a beeline for jungle valley and farming up flora's gift/pack leader cards. then i remembered that the porcupine is a thing. is ilevel 50 enough for me to use the +2 fire gems essence on it? don't really care about trying for +3 since i don't imagine it being very easy ssf.

anyone know how long it takes to farm a set of porcupines roughly?

>mfw 15th wurms molt in a row from chancing belts

>dude lmao like only do shaped strands bro like you shouldnt even have any maps completed on your atlas beyond t9

>forgetting vault
>forgetting vault has the same layout as atoll, another favorite of "muh clearspeed xdd" redditors
>forgetting vault gives FREE exalts
>forgetting vault has tons of chests to open
>forgetting vault has FREE loot at the end after the boss

honestly the reddit hivemind is just too fucking stupid. reddit says "LOL SHAPED STRAND" so everyone does shaped strand and ignores blatantly superior maps. same thing happens with builds. reddit goes "LOL CI/VP/GR" and everyone plays the same meme ES builds and ignores blatantly superior life builds.

do flora and then start a goal for porcupine. Don't think porcupine is that easy to get

you can summon multiple golems of the same type

>blatantly superior life builds
too obvious, 4/10

clayshaper and primordal jewels

finally got my united in dream. my 4 linked srs is just tearing thru maps

you can summon multiple of the same type of golem from one skill gem

reddit has arrived

>summon reddit spirits

why do people play builds where AI does all the work for them? seems pretty boring and braindead

Is whispering ice still a boring but strong build? Or have the aoe nerfs shat on it?

>srs
>hold down rmb to kill everything everywhere
>non summoner skills
>hold down rmb to kill everything everywhere
???

s-stop having fun wrong !!

deleted all my standard characters

I won't let the past hold me back any longer

>eye of chayula dropped from a uul-netol breach
I forget this thing has been around forever

Why didn't you give me all of your currency?

name 1 build where you just "le hold down le rmb to kill le everything everywhere"

How do I remove a crafted mod from an item? I'd like to put on a new one.

spark
spectral throw
flame blast totem
tornado shot
lightning arrow
frost blades

Cyclone ngameme.
Howaa st
Whispering ice
Bv builds
Fbreaker shield charge
That's 5

I gave most of what little I had to some random in global 1
still have some exalts if you want, post IGN

OvoNisamJa, gonna go start it first

Angramir

Benches have the option of removing a crafted mod at the cost of a scouring if the master who provided the bench is lvl 7+.

>spark
not even a real build unless you mean vaal spark in which case you're half right because they can hold down rmb through dried lake but thats the extent of their meme build
>spectral throw
not even a real build
>flame blast totem
totem/summon builds are braindead, thats my point so thanks for agreeing with me
>tornado shot
wrong, tornado shot uses multiple skills
>lightning arrow
see above. also LA hasnt been good for a long time anyway.
>frost blades
again, see above. frost blades is shit anyway.
>Cyclone ngameme.
>Howaa st
both main ly rely on 1 ability but are much more complex than just "LE HOLD RMB XDDD" because you need to attribute for proper positioning and environmental awareness (something reddit summoners dont need to worry about)
>Whispering ice
are you retarded? whispering ice needs to use orb of storms
>Bv builds
blade vortex is shit
>Fbreaker shield charge
literally useless past cruel

back 2 reddit please

>if the master who provided the bench is lvl 7+.
Fuck.

Maplestory

Why doesn't game tell me this stuff?

guy above you was faster, sorry

it's cool, I didn't really need it

>what is the /help command

There shouldn't be a command for this at all

Why not just give them all right away

Why would I even consider to look for something like that in /help

>Get my first Shavs drop ever after playing since open beta
>Someone offers me 2ex + 6L regalia with 5 off colours
>Accept, throw a few chaos at it and hit 750ES
>Someone buys it for 8.5ex
>Take my profit and buy a 6L Shavs

Game is too easy

K

>play meta builds
>"game is too easy"
lol

nice es pool
