the quest being played overrides the current stats on the board but it can still get buffed if you play it while the quest is active

polymorph just transforms the minion into another minion, but all minons have 5/5 so the sheep will be 5/5 no matter what

Exactly, only one class can effectively combat the quest's mechanic, which is one of the worst classes in the game, and that class has something like 5 cards total to use as removal for a bunch of 1 drops. It's busted, and the only thing that now beats the deck is playing a face deck (which I'm fucking tired of after last expansion).
