I wouldn't recommend something you need to use with a converter as you'll never know if it is giving you input lag. Maybe buy a Fighting Commander 4/V, but be warned they both suffer from some common QC issues so you might need to replace them.
I play with a mixture of both. I haven't played Tekken with anything other than a DualShock though, but I generally prefer sticks for other 3D fighters. GG I'm really bad at since I haven't put much time into it since Blaz came out, but I mostly played it on pad.

Honest truth moment: I was one of the 10 people who played her without abusing her infinite in '00 and I don't remember too many people playing her in '02. Couldn't tell you about XI because I was super casual in that game.
Go on Twitch and look at Floe and Juicebox's streams last night they both did a lot of Vanessa work (at least when I was watching). They had a better idea of what to do with the character. I'll be honest, it's the first time I have even seen Stun in KoF XIV.
