Playing through Awakening again makes me remember why I haven't bothered with Fates yet.

The second half of that game is so flaccid and disconnected. The whole child-timetravel-whatever stuff is so sloppy and slapdash and results in a second half that just feels like fucking about with no stakes or character.

Literally all my gauntlet battles have been my Celica, the one Linde on my friend list, and some random mage.

I'd save, honestly. If you want to do a fun roll, you want a banner where all colors have a decent 5*; the "Batting Navarre" is decent but it's missing a green and has unbelievably trash Red options. Besides, you might 20 orbs we're getting from the gauntlet to get multiple rolls at once.

I spent nearly a hundred orbs on nearly all blue/colorless on this banner and got nothing but a 5* Sakura, fuck me

Nino or Ursula (feed her Odin's Moonbow and Blarblae) if you have someone to buff their blade tomes (5* Sharena, Eirika, anyone with both a rally and a Hone). Blade tomes are game breakers. They take priority.

Otherwise, Nowi or Klein.

Nino by far. If you are still lacking a good blue tome user by the time you get another 20k feathers, sure, Blarblade Ursula is great, but Nino with a good buffing unit (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD BUFFING UNIT, otherwise it's pointless) damn near breaks the game.
