It's really not better. There's 2 meta defining decks, one focused on killing you turn 6 by just strictly going face and another that just durdles for turns 1-4 and then has 3+ 5/5 minions on board and plays 1 mana 5/5 chargers. You either play Pirate Aggro and counter the Rogue Quest or play Rogue and win against any slow control deck or play a slow control deck or win against Pirates.
Add to that the occasional Exodia Mage that does nothing but stall all game and have 3+ Ice Blocks to cheat death with, then win without you being able to do anything about it because they just kill you with infinite damage.

It's an isekai that doesn't take itself seriously

you really want to cut most of the one and two drops not roach if you're trying for roach kills, 3x may 3x roach and maybe 2x of some other 1-2 drop, pixie mischief generally isn't great, max out on guidance, feena, and fairy circle, a glimmering wings or two could fit in, if you want to go all in on roach you could add angelic snipes

She's French, just make anything and surrender every time.

I think so too. I don't get people talking about CSword, and I have yet to see a single CSword list posted on /svg/. You can only play midrange/aggressive with Sword in ToG and it isn't bad.

It was very surprising to see the Sword winrates skyrocket when that "midrange" sword got popular. The same thing will happen when people stop memeing or believing in commandercraft.

Ward doesn't take effect until ambush goes away. Him giving frog ward was completely and utterly pointless.
