If you could bring back ONE (1) weapon from a previous game into DaS3, what would it be?

By default it would be both fun and viable, even if it wasn't in the previous game.

I would bring back the Gyrm Greataxe. It's some of the most fun i've ever had with a weapon. It's also Elder God Tier in DaS2, except the range.

Playing DS2 for the first time, I keep getting hit while rolling, not like actually taking the full hit and getting stunned, but taking half damage from behind while the boss clearly didn't make contact with me. I didn't have any issues with this whatsoever throughout the entirety of DS1. Am I crazy or are the hitboxes shit? Is it worth leveling that skill that increases your iframes? I've started using a shield over rolling because I can't seem to dodge everything 100% anymore.

It stood out the most for me against The Lost Sinner, despite me rolling past his sword model while stabbing every time, his hitbox would still track through and make me take partial damage, and it happened on the Pursuer a little bit as well with his jumping attack and rolling to the right of him.

It wouldn't be compatible with the base game, so I wouldn't unless they had changes on the scale of SoTFS.

The hitboxes are AGGRESSIVELY shit. An enemy can spend its entire swing pointed completely away from you, make contact with the ground on the other side of itself from where you are, and still flatten you.

Yeah you have to put points into ADP to make rolling better.
My agility is 95 as a caster at level 114 and it's working fine for me.

there's plenty of ok strength weapons available early. Club/Battle Axe is in High Wall. Vordt's hammer is after you kill Greatwood. Think the smaller of the greathammer clubs is in Undead settlement too.

Greataxe damage is strike. So why would you use it? Most enemies are weak against strike.

Those are all great choices, I'm sure you're capable of choosing on your own. Just decide whether you'd rather use axes, hammers, or gs. From there the options are split up.

What's the best weapon for a hexer to use?
So far all I use is the maxed out fire longsword. It's been working quite well. And the shield was the 100% physical damage block knights shield. Most of the time I use spells, but sometimes I like to use melee.
Do hexers also have a weapon like those sorcerers do in the moonlight longsword?

You could use the Dusk Crown ring for the second slot to stay in the RTSR range longer with PW active. I think you also need to be cursed, curse and the Dusk Crown ring reduce your HP by a percentage, which also affects PW.
