I've rolled few decent fire SSRs so I'm rolling with fire grid.

Now I'm torn apart - my friend told me to farm magna canes, but however I look at it, it seems that ancient eckes / ecke sachs seems a better idea.

Would it be better to roll with 4 ancient / 4 normal eckes and 2 unk weapons or farm magna canes?

Also is the droprate on eckes really low? I couldn't drop a single one for 4 days now...

Eckes are only really better if you are fighting wind. When you only have one grid they are not high priority. Canes will server you better for more general content.
