Wow. Supercars. Nuburgring
Turn 10 are really changing the game here.

Jackson Wood
Is that even a leak?
Jack Campbell
"boss how are we gonna make the driver look like a woman" "tomb raider 1 boobs" "got it boss"
Jeremiah Wilson
that's not tr1 boobs
Evan Morgan
>dem graffiks
Adam Cruz

Parker Perez
So am I bad if I turn off force feedback on SHiT 4? This shit is too much to handle on some turns.
Josiah Mitchell
probably gotta adjust it. you don't want your wheel making that loud clicking noises when trying to countersteer
Hunter Fisher
what's not so shit ("""good""") so far in SHiT 4: >cars have some gravity and drag applied to them - they tumble and bounc significantly less than in SHiT Rally >suspension does not seem to vault over edges or launch cars into space on sudden compression anymore, unlike in SHiT Rally (e.g. when hitting a mound of dirt on the side of the road with a rear wheel) >water splashes slow the car down noticeably >mixed class events with separate class/overall scoreboards >inspections before/while repairing the car >repair sliders are not fully fluid like in SHiT Rally, instead there are 'quick' and 'standard' fix options to choose from >can buy used cars with varied prices depending on car history and parts, which can be of higher grade than otherwise available >FFB does not stick when you Alt+F4 out of the game, unlike in SHiT Rally >replay mode has better cameras >car sounds change when you lose body panels
what's bad or missing: >obvious repetitive stage chunks (can see same chunks 2-3 times in a single 15km stage) >vague steering, weakish FFB >no FFB effects from collisions and impacts to wheels >no mixed surfaces >no tire setup/wear/strategy apart from packing spare wheels >car resets still instant >replay mode still a very basic viewer, not an editor >could use some co-driver interaction, like a button to ask how many miles/kilometers are remaining >graphics are worse and yet it runs worse than SHiT Rally (then again, >HD6850)
Jordan Sullivan
Server is up for BMW M235i series. Schedule is complete but we'll be using a stock track for the first race because the server is going up late. The first track is Silverstone National, which uses the start/finish of the old circuit.
Connor Baker
try driving like *this* in SHiT Rally and not fly to the moon
Adam Smith
When will /ovg/ get a podium?
Samuel Harris
Are you having fun with it?
Alexander Brown
also the cars are still too durable, though at least the bodywork flies off
Evan Long
2PM PST.
Convert for other time zones accordingly.
Brandon Morgan
novelty fun, just like with anything new it'll probably wear off soon
Carter Flores
What do I type on youtube to find porn after sorting vids by upload date?
Owen Barnes
ovg
Thomas Fisher
So does SHiT 4 drive worse on a wheel than SHiT Rally does?
Alexander Gonzalez
www.youtube.com/channel/UCV7Y7doP6gcAzS08k9hsLmw
Jayden Martinez
Yes, cars (like rwd e30) have instant understeer that somehow heals itself mid-corner like in track racecars with loads of aero, and everything feels ridiculously grippy. I've set my wheel on 900 instead of 540 because i was annoyed with massive weight transfers every time i move a wheel by milimeter.
"simulation mode" difficulty is all about doing 360s every time you try to trail brake because there is so much grip up front
Asher Gonzalez
Webcam :^)
Bentley Wood
>every cool car in D4 except 205 gti and RX group B is copied from DR
i bet game got large budget and so people with taste in rally got replaced with some kind of transvestite feminists and black jews for political correctness
hope dirt 4 will sell like shit and they'll be forced to go back to early access
Since F1 is on, the race will be postponed for BMW unless you guys still want to run it.
Hunter Lee
You can postpone it because this race is good
Adrian Bailey
>dirt 4 >fog >literally less than 5m vision range, anything farther away isn't visible at all >driving entirely on pace notes >rushing through 5-6 corners, slowing down for halfpin, rocks outside >"rocks outside" actually take half of outside lane >all of that in fog that won't allow you to see any further than double length of your car
This is suprisingly cool.
Zachary Reed
>f1 race >good nice joke
Henry Ramirez
>he watches Normie1
Justin Edwards
hey the americans woke up
Logan Watson
So we starting next week?
Leo Hughes
...
Tyler Stewart
we raced anyway but we'll be "starting" next weekend, even though le mans is happening. can't be helped.
Brandon Sullivan
I've put up a club lobby for some testing and y'all are welcome to join
Mason Campbell
>cars still actively try to land on four wheels after a roll goddammit, shitmasters
Bentley Brown
whoa it's almost like codemasters games are all arcades
Easton Campbell
I am having tons of fun in dirt 4 but I gotta agree I fucking flip hit a fucking pole and whatnot and get minor damper damage and body damage
Aaron Butler
hey r2kguy, i do have one disappointing thing to comment on the longterm wear it seems as if it's based on just pure course length rather than how much your suspension has to work, as doing 20 miles on wales and 20 miles on spain ends up with equally wrecked suspension which does not seem quite right
Christopher Baker
Ahhh an hour to Micronshaft E3 stream! I can't waaiiitt
Brayden Martin
*2 minutes
Lucas Clark
But it's only 13:08 PST?
Nicholas Cook
Xbox has gone the way of porsche. Liquid Cooling.
Logan Hill
>forza 7 is just forza 6 with more diversity Also they're revealing a car with it again, but it's a Porch instead of a Ferd.
Logan Turner
>don't believe their audience cares about cars enough to notice using completely fake engine sounds for the 919 >think they care enough about cars to unveil the GT2 RS
Hudson Bell
And once again clearly clunky ugly physics that make all the other good stuff null and void
Luke Lewis
Nah dude a GT500 car struggling to pass GT3s is 100% accuracy
>muh women drivers >anybody who actually knows the Nurburgring can blatantly tell they're jumping between completely isolated pre-recorded clips
GT2RS bumpers look shit Forza 7 is disappointment, he said puddles would get bigger during storm but it would probably not get fully dynamic weather, no ToD too?
Christian Wilson
I just want to race muh baikus
Caleb Scott
Wow, it looks the EXACT SAME as Forza 6.
I've always preferred Gran Turismo, the gameplay is simply more fun. Forza doesn't feel as good.
Levi James
Forza has always felt more arcade like.
Jason Gutierrez
Do you think that will change when they unveil FM7 at the MS E3 conference?
Ok weather is dynamic (can go from dry to raining) but GT500 car vs GT3 cars vs GTE car puts me off..
Hudson Nelson
>that camera shaking during rain Also, the reflections don't look half as good as NFS 2015, shame tbqh
Ayden Reed
looks like a bot is driving that car, who the fuck drives in 1st gear in a gt3 car.
Henry Stewart
WTF the Xbox stream has been going for an hour?
Chase Allen
Whoever's driving is obviously driving with all assists turned on, but seeing this is literally (literally) our first look at the game, that's to be expected. Can't complain about graphics, because they honestly do look amazing, sound is definitely and upgrade for Forza, but it's still shit, I welcome the dynamic weather even though people are going to praise it like no game has ever done it before, 700 cars is GT tier, with over 200 layouts, I'm expecting to see the Japanese tracks return so any SGT cars will feel at home. I also like the HuD, it just has a nice A E T H S T E T I C to me.
If I had to make a snap judgement, it more than likely end up like every other Forza game, good, well made, but short lived, but you never know.
John Davis
only 30 tracks (pcars 2 has 45+ no counting all these rallycross and kart tracks), puddles gets bigger with more rain but they would still stay in place (in pcars2 cars driving over puddles can relocate them), no sign of online driver rating, physic would be still simcade No reason to buy it if one has FM6 already.
Blake Sanders
>using the features of a SUPER EXTREME HARDCORE SKILL autist sim as an argument as to why not to buy something aimed at the casual market >pcars 2
You can;t tell me how to spend my money, prick.
David Miller
I want it to, I want the game to focus on the sim aspect and really hammer down a solid driving engine in that regard. But then who would they sell it to? The 10 sim racing fans? It'll be casual just like the rest.
The lack of touge tracks in Forza 6 was shocking. We need more Jap maps and a dedicated drifting mode vs another driver.
Aaron Martin
>not Need for Shit
Jordan Harris
>i donated money to the SMS kikestarter so i must shill the game whenever possible forza is genuinely more of a simulator than project cars 1 or 2
Mason Garcia
Hello newfriend.
Joshua Edwards
pcars and all of the nfs shift games were pretty shitty, i don't see how Slightly Shit Studios can manage to make pcars2 any good. GTR2 was their only good game.
David Evans
>second place in event after stage 3/4, losing 15-20 seconds to leader >start last stage >"there's a car crashed ahead" >time to leader: --:--.--- >leader crashed maybe 500 meters away from the finish, stage was 15km is this rigged so I can win easy?
anyway, what shitmasters ought to implement is multiple cars driving on a stage (each starting at 1 minute intervals), so you can overtake or get overtaken if the stage distance is big enough and the other car is significantly slower/faster. not just passing a static "crashed" car.
they've tainted a rally game with rallycross, so at least car-car collision physics should be done at a basic level already.
Adrian Gomez
>anyway, what shitmasters ought to implement is multiple cars driving on a stage (each starting at 1 minute intervals), so you can overtake or get overtaken if the stage distance is big enough and the other car is significantly slower/faster. not just passing a static "crashed" car. they've done this with previous dirt games already, this was removed in dirt rally.
Carter Russell
They had other cars on the stage in SHiT 2 and 3.
Leo Foster
This. Fujima Kaido was based as fuck and needs a come back
Zachary Rodriguez
They've done multiple cars on a stage before, they just don't feel like it now. Also, are you playing with low settings because you toaster is shit, or is that what the game actually looks like at mackseemum graffiks?
Justin Gomez
i had that happen at the second to last stage of my 50 mile spain rally, the guy in front's brakes apparently failed and while i'm sure it was purely rng there was something satisfying about it since i'd spent the past half an hour driving a car whose suspension was basically gone and i could believe that the AI left their brakes untouched and had them fail since mine were starting to fail too
Zachary Howard
that guy has a toaster. the game looks pretty decent at max settings
Jayden Sanders
Well, I saw on the stream that the Hafeet Mountain Pass will be in the game, so at least that's something.
Evan Myers
>pajeet mountain pass if its not in japan then no thanks
Hudson Smith
anime is for kids
Ryan Green
>Veeky Forums >adults
James Jones
no it doesn't SHiT: Rally looks way better
Logan Richardson
not really
Isaiah Butler
>that >decent not seeing it
Blake Martin
>5th forza game about to be released this gen >GT sport still has not come out yet IT'S NOT FAIR
Benjamin Gonzalez
can someone explain 4k and why microsoft mentions it every 2 sentences
William Mitchell
Buying all of those games with their respective season passes is still cheaper than getting all of iRacing's """""content""""" and playing it for a year.
Nicholas Perez
I see, but I don't mean running 10 seconds apart on a 2 minute stage
