I'm more in favor of pulling a heist on Capcom to steal the Legends 3 prototype.
Recent events have proved that anons can actually do that sort of thing IF they really put their minds to it.

I don't think we have the kind of weaponized autism that is needed for such task.

I'm convinced physical carts of Prototype Ver. exist. Remember, Capcom were going to hold a public demo event... then, like, a week later the tsunami hit and it was cancelled. They had to have printed them.

First we find the Capcom office most likely to have records and backups of older work.
Then we get a floor plan and try to glean as much as possible about actual conditions inside the building.
Then we strike.

The hardest part is that said building might be in Japan and none of us are Japanese. We'd stick out like a sore thumb even without trying to pull off a heist.
It's worth looking into the circumstances behind that one guy who played the prototype. An overseas office would be far higher easier to hit, and the odds of a copy being forgotten in storage are higher as well.

In general I think the biggest real obstacle to /mmg/ pulling this off is travel time and expenses, which most of us probably can't afford.
That and there is the unfortunate possibility that all copies were deleted, scrapped, or thrown out by now. It's been quite a while since the cancellation.
Nevertheless I still hope that some day a disgruntled employee will leak everything.

It certainly is, but A/SGDQ has a thing about singing, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if the people burst into song.

Here's hoping they do that Runner mode where it's all stages and no story, then. That should make it so it does Eden instead of Paradise.

Nothing is ever thrown away. Not these days, at least. Game assets are shared among other games, recycled into dev tools, prototypes, etc.
