This one looks like the end of a character mission where some serious shit has gone down, and Cora's just staring out into the rain. Ryder asks if she's alright, there's a long pause, and Cora just responds "Yeah."

Mass Effect needs more rain. I loved the atmosphere and the look of MGS: Ground Zeroes, especially when Chico puts in the earbuds and starts the music which dampens the surrounding environment as the camera follows the Skullface's troops.

Jaal

>Mostly likely returns due to popularity but doesn't begin the game with you, would make sense to have her establish herself as a bigger figure in the Andromeda trading scene, maybe even approaching Shadow Broker status one day. Re-joins the squad at some point in the story.

Liam
>Doesn't return but you can encounter him on the Nexus where he is now head of a new Nexus-based HUS-T1 squad. He works either under or alongside Kandros.

Cora
>Doesn't return but you can encounter her on the Nexus where she is now the Human Representative at the newly expanded Pathfinder HQ. Chafes a bit under Tann's leadership but begins to come into her own as a leader as well.

PeeBee
>Mostly returns due to popularity and plot relevance, but doesn't begin the game with you. She shows up to inform you about some Jardaan mystery/relic/thing/plot-point and re-joins the squad. She has continued to establish a reputation for herself as a scientist of renown within Andromeda between games.

Drack
>Doesn't return but you can encounter him on Elaaden in New Tuchanka where he is now Head of Security and the Krogan liaison to the Nexus in times of emergency/conflict. He is age starts to become noticeable, and he dies at some point in the game as a result of not being able to keep up anymore.

A crowded and erratically moving vehicle that stops frequently for firefights is probably not the place for such opinions, however.

What are even the odds of ME:A2 happening? I'm 20 hours into my first playthrough and I think I'd like to see a 2nd game based on my current experience with this one. That is if they fix all the obvious flaws.

Anyone who thinks that the Sloane/Reyes choice was in any way balanced is a moron. There is nothing redeeming about Sloane and the game gives you literally no reason to pick her.

And those who think that Reyes is going to betray you in a future game probably shouldn't hold their breath over it. After all the screaming and crying from gay fans and the ME team's obvious cowtowing to them, they won't dare make one of the only choices for gay men turn out to be bad. This company has been completely neutered.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that all the squadmates return. They can't be killed, so BW doesn't have to make decisions about stuff based on that. Couple that with the asshurt dynamo that was ME3's handling of about 50% of the much-beloved characters, they probably don't want to mess with it.

They'll bring in a new character or two, new optional outfits for everybody, and let the squadmates develop alongside Ryder.

The crew, yeah, they'll probably be back too, for the sole reason that they can't be killed or otherwise removed.

Wildcard: Drack might die in the sequel. Half his squad banter is about how he's dying.

I read hers and The Outcasts terminals and emails on Kadara just a few hours before and her codex and she deserves it. How was that person even recruited? She basically was this racist ego queen who likes to beat people who she disagrees with her and beats them if they dont pay her. Or you know using making that medicine into drug and using it to control people. Could not even keep her people together. Too bad I couldn't do the sniping myself. Andromeda recruitment needs work. How do you even recruit someone who is dishonorably discharged for punching her commanding officer for a mission this big. Garson kind of deserved all the mess she got, her recruitment tactics sucks. Plus Sloane was kinda stupid, so easily tricked.

Jaal will be an important NPC and a valuable ally on your side when things start getting heated with the Angara one way or another, likely related to Meridian and groups of them having Manchurian Candidate programming awakened in them.
