if you can afford the costs of repairs, it's absolutely worth it. Better yet, work on it yourself. Recently changed the valve cover gaskets on it myself, as well as the fuel pump and fuel filter. Valve covers were a bitch, but saved about 1200 by just dedicating a saturday to it.
