Bikes are way too easy to customize. Want a sportier suspension? Doing your own fork swap is cheaper than having a shop rebuild your forks and easier than rebuilding forks yourself.
I don't get buying new bikes and losing more money than you would have spent just upgrading your current one.
maybe they just ride to the bar 5 miles away?
I put 500 miles on my bike every couple of weeks just riding to work and back
Jace Johnson
Very familiar feel.

I know, I just like the 70's aethestic's which an fz can never replicate.
First world problems, but I I wish I had a place with a garage to tinker. Apartment living + motorcycle being my only means of transport bretty much a project bike is impossible or I would just buy a cb750 and call it a day. I still love my FZ way to much to sell anytime soon.

Yeah, but I'm looking to invest in a cage or at least some bungs before I do anything too crazy, there's way too much money poured into this thing to ride haphazardly.

I would if only to tinker with it Also i bet the shaft drive vfr1200n would fit nicely in some older car
Matthew Morales
A manual bike is just as good, if not better for tinkering.
Asher Martinez
I'll take one when it's not pissing of rain
Ian Sullivan
Hey DBT, would you ride from the top of Alaska to the bottom of south America? If so, what bike would you take on the journey?
Hudson Lee

Justin Howard
No, brown people scare me.
Aiden Cox

Does anyone else get fretful when they hear weird engine noises in traffic? Even if you really know it is a POS a lane over?

Does Japan export their old police bikes?
I want one, or at least some of the kit to put on a USDM bike.
Elijah Myers

When I'm in traffic I feel like the POS cars are some of the most dangerous. You never know if the driver is just going to blast across a few lanes because they are late to their 4th job
Nathan Wilson
Do motorcycles have the same rules as cars for importing?
Dominic Long
Tires screeching are always scary for me

I'd think something with a bigger fuel tank and more power would be in order.
I'd get an older GS, or something along those lines.
Air-cooled, shaft-driven and so on.

I saw one in Europe going for $24k. I can't imagine how much of a paint it would be to find parts for the engine, the company that makes it doesn't sell to the public.

Can't decide between VFR 800, Sprint ST 1050 or a superduke 990.
I want something that will pretty much do it all, but no offroading.
What would you choose to ride?
Camden Jenkins
Anything to consider when buying new overstock? As in a "new" 2015 with no miles? I'm assuming they didn't let gas/oil sit for two years... r-right?

Nolan Scott
I don't know if they come in the Grom's sizing but I'd ditch the stock tires for some Michelin PR4 or any sport touring tire really

apropos of southamericaposting:
>Eating steaks in Argentina feels like joining a cult. You find yourself leaning on friends to come visit, and writing YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND in all caps more often than feels comfortable. Argentine beef really is extraordinary. Almost all of this has to do with how the cows are raised. There are no factory feedlots in Argentina; the animals still eat pampas grass their whole lives, in open pasture, and not the chicken droppings and feathers mixed with corn that pass for animal feed in the United States. Since this is the way of life a cow was designed for, it is not necessary to pump the animal full of antibiotics. The meat is leaner, healthier and more flavorful than that of corn-fed cattle. It has fewer calories, contains less cholesterol, and tastes less mushy and waterlogged than American meat. And the cows spend their lives out grazing in the field, not locked into some small pen. You can taste the joy.
Also give her a skin coloured seat, so it looks likes she has a giant dick.
Jack Morgan
welcome to dbt, newfriend enjoy your stay
Carter Collins
You fool. Bought this bike and will never go back to 4 stroke dirt bike.
Austin Perez
I'm biased to viffers because I have a 750 that I love. You just can't beat that VFR sound and the ability to hand with older sportbikes (Depending on certain conditions)
