FP cost is probably high because it was just way too easy to spam with minimum investment in previous games.

Wielding a weapon with both hands gives you an effective 50% STR bonus. 10 becomes 15, 30 becomes 45, and 40 becomes 60.

Thrusting attacks are counter-hits by nature. They all work the same as long as you are hitting someone in their attack frames. The highest damaging type would be an UGS charged r2.

Let's be honest, DaS3 has the best invasions and only casuals would say otherwise.

I live in Japan and no one plays on PC, cooping takes a while and invading is laggy as fuck.

It's not bait, you get incredibly nice stuff like obscuring and cat rings and some maps are absolutely huge giving you tons of opportunities to ambush the players.

Killing a host who has 3 phantoms and a seeded world is incredibly satisfying.

Fair enough - Like I said, I agree with you. I mostly invade though, since DeS and I guess not ever taking part in the 1v1 honor shit means I don't get worked up when hosts and phantoms resort to scummy shit.

I've had some ridiculously fun DaS3 invasions where I've harassed the host since the start of the level (first DLC comes to mind) with me burning through additional healing items and consumables and them responding in turn with shit like the seed etc. It's satisfying.

Use the rolling L1 for this (which has instant block frames and is basically gotthards tier)

Arguable. Seeds exist, phantoms can't even heal, and the level design was so shitty in DaS2 there was rarely good places to ambush the host.
