Can we have a nice civil discussion about LTC playthroughs this thread? It's one of many valid ways of playing FE games and is quite fun.

I prefer efficiency runs. It's basically LTC, but you're allowed to take extra turns if you don't want to rely on shaky hit rates or criticals. The idea is to just try and not turtle as much as possible.

Since last thread got deleted for no reason, I repeat my question - for Apotheosis, whats better skill, Luna or Ignis? Both my Morgan and Cynthia have it, as well as Luna.

Also, I kept them as Dark Fliers classes, to have both Celicia's Gale and Brave Lance. But another user suggested to change them to Sage or Sorc. Is this choice really that much better? Im afraid that I would lose mobility and being able to attack with physical weapon, if I would run into enemies that shouldnt be attacked with magic.

A thread got deleted so people are replying to dead posts in an attempt to continue discussion.

I think the whole "We're only x posts away from bump limit" mentality is exactly what keeps causing earlier and earlier threads to be made, so mods cracking down on them no matter how far away from 750 they are is a good thing. If /feg/ can't make threads properly(which has been proven time and time again that we can't) then having the mods/janitors beat it over our heads how to do so is the best option.

I was under the impression that LTC was about aiming for as low a turncount as YOU can achieve, and that RNG abusing for a theoretically possible outcome and aiming for something reliable were both subsets of LTC. I'm not a fan of runs where you just reset until everything goes your way because you ignore a lot of the game that way. Personally I do LTC ironman runs so I obviously don't rely on shaky hit rates.

Perhaps that's true. When I usually think of LTC, I usually think of full autismo RNG abuse alongside of it. If what I described is "normal" LTC behavior, then I'm okay with LTC for the most part.

I was never really a fan of turtling or babysitting, even in games outside of Fire Emblem. I'm kind of an aggro-fag and enjoy blitzkreig tactics. I'll still use chokepoints or bait enemies when it's a clearly superior option, however. It pains me that Ayra is stuck in Horse Emblem.
