What are some actual "tasteful mods" you can do to your car without being a ricer? I've made a list of things that I think qualify, but let me know if I should add or remove things.

>Turbo/supercharger
>New (non fart can) exhaust
>New clutch
>New transmission
>Lightened flywheel
>Carbon fiber (actually replacing parts NOT wrapping in cf)
>Reasonable size spoiler if your car is powerful enough to generate downforce
>Seats bcuz comfy
>New steering wheel (tailored to your needs don't add a removable drift wheel if you don't drift.
>Wheels
>Tires
Anything else?

Obviously it depends if you're referring to a street car or a track/fun car but since you didn't specify, I assumed you are talking about modifying a normal vehicle with the intention of driving it everyday since you mentioned ricers, and ricers usually only have one riced out shitbox

Not for a street car and comes with a lot of nasty side effects if you don't know what you're doing

Again not for a street car, only time you'd need to replace your clutch is if you're making power that goes beyond your stock one; at that point you'd likely have to replace other components too

I've always seen this as ricey, unless you have no alternatives and a part exclusively comes in carbon fiber

This will compromise safety in a variety of situations, if your car is equipped with side airbags that deploy from the seats

Those also help other drivers because your tires don't kick out so many rocks. And in the rain, it pushes more water back to the ground instead of throwing it up as spray onto other windshields.

There is no list of things that are considered 'ricer'. Nobody cares what others think of them, they'll put whatever the fuck they want on their car, and if they don't they're a beta male who can barely be called an adult and they shouldn't be allowed to drive.

Catch can for the crankcase vent so your intake doesn't get nasty.
