Tell me about Minoans

Tell me about Minoans

They were (probably) white/Caucasian

We know they started what would become the Greek language and alphabet, and provided the basis for some of the great myths of theirs, notably Atlantis. Probably done in by massive volcanic eruption and the subsequent mega tsunami it generated.

I am genetically close to them, which means I'm a khang

The very first white civilization they should be praised as the beings that brought civilization to Europe also they lived in Crete so they were ethnicly Greek fucking Greeks are our saviors.

I thought they were invaded by Greeks?

No. They were not.

They had good taste in fashion.

Also is it true they were a matriarchal society?

wtf why don't minoans ever cover their chest, won't it feel cold or start to sag, and won't men just keep staring

They lived on Crete so the temperature isn't a big problem.

And its not like covering up has really stopped men from staring at attractive women and their attractive tits.

They worshiped bulls. Every home had a carved bull's head on its wall that served as an altar. They built a city that was just a a huge mansion with a bunch of rooms connected together instead of separate buildings. It served as a capital and the king's palace. This later became the labyrinth in the myth of king Minos and the Minotaur.

Greek writing came from Phoenician. Minoan linear script is a totally different independent invention, isn't it? That's why we can't translate it.

If it's the norm, men won't care so much. It was common in my hometown for women to be topless until the government made the women cover up and prohibited their dress. The men didn't care really either. Breast will sag with or without clothes to support it, they actually look nicer if they never wear a bra. My gf never wore one in her life, she's medium sized and her tits are perky.

Oh and they started the bullfight tradition that's still practiced in Spain.

But they were on Cretes in Greece yo retardeed fuck
Minoa is a lesbian wet dream.

wouldn't that be lesbos though?

pretty qt

80% of the reason breasts are a big deal is becuase you're told form birth that you're not supposed to look at them.

It's the same reason it's attractive when a woman who's hair is normally up lets it down, or vise versa; it's not what you're used to seeing.

then why don't vaginas get the same amount of obsession from men if not more?

A lame copy of ancient Egypt in everything.

They don't get as much teasing and exposure as breasts would. But the obsession somewhat exists, theres that upskirt fetish.

>We know they started what would become the Greek language

No, the Minoan language is untranslated but it's certainly NOT Greek

>Also is it true they were a matriarchal society?

No evidence exists to tell for sure, but almost certainly no, on the basis that no matriarchal society has ever been found to exist.

Nonsense, that comes from Roman gladiatorial games. The Minoans practised a sport known as "bull-leaping", which as the name suggests did NOT involve killing the bull.

By Minoan, I'm referring to the Linear A script, which was the direct predecessor of the Linear B alphabet the Myceans used. That was the direct origin of the Greek alphabet as we know of it today. Phoenicians may have influenced it, or been the ones who originally gave the Minoans the idea, but Linear A script wound up becoming Greek script over time.

Don't bite on the hook

I think that is somehow partially true. Breast are very erogenous areas for women and a nice pair of tits indicates a healthy hormonal balance and genes in women. They were probably less sexualized but not entirely erased of sexuality. Atleast thats my opinion.

Linear b isn't an alphabet, it's closer to hieroglyphics

Why they fuck are they covering her tits with the vase?

We haven't even touched the actual city of Knossos beyond the royal palace.

We know it is there, just no one has invested the capital into studying it.

Yeah we did, it was very small, in the present age it would be considered a small town

Dogg, men are far more into vaginas than they are into breasts. There's a reason why women complain about men's lack of foreplay: men disregard fondling and go straight for the punani.

Vaginas look horrible to me

>Dogg, men are far more into vaginas than they are into breasts.

t. homosexual

where the fuck do u live breh

lol, Linear A/B died out in the Greek Dark Ages, died out, as in an utter collapse of the Mycenaean castle-centred culture. The Greek alphabet is derived entirely from Phoenician, using almost the same letters AND names for them

It's not your fucking cartoon porn you /b/tard

minoans were into alt girls

fucking A

i am minoan deep down inside

>you're told form birth that you're not supposed to look at them

actually, I was breastfed.
