Nah I've been using a Flamberge +2. In the second phase it does like 84 damage and it feels like bleed procs once or twice over the fight and ripostes don't come quick enough.
I wish, fucking wish, I could just skip the first phase slog.

As of the latest patch, this is the best build in the game.

the flamberge is really not a good weapon for bleeding bosses, it is too slow
you could try kirk's straight sword or a carthus curved sword

I've just read that even without the stat requirements it gives you the Perseverance, you don't need the faith either. It's more dangerous that way, but it's still an option.

I only summon if your character looks nice.

30 endurance with RoFaP+3 gives 150 stamina, which lets you attack 3 times or 2 times and then roll. It also lets you do 2 L2R1s and barely roll after that.

I also try to summon more with people with actual names over XxDarkcutterxX, and people with something that looks like an actual NPC name get priority over everything.

It's use is getting around the new weapon memory restrictions, and twinking the fuck out with Nu Prisoner's Chain at SL20~

I did. Pull one into the corner while lapp solos the other. Make sure to keep landing hits on his head when he goes into poison spit mode. You can hug him and he can only melee once and no combo.

Get the laser 2nd phase and stay away from lapp when he charges it so that it doesn't kill him and make sure he aims it away from lapp.

I used gnaw and filli chime for regen. If you have carthus it would probably make it easier.

Nah. Best build is now dark(not pyro, get 1-2 spells top) with overbuffed infusions or, if you want to keep true to yours, use Gael's as a straight upgrade to claymore, raw corvian because quickstep still sucks and RKSS since the SS stance nerf makes that one have a slightly better one as it at least can deal damage and have better range even if both can't trade
