Somebody say God Machine?

>We have yet to see if it is reliable. Its the first iteration of this engine
>you can get a lot of sports car for 40k
>fast? You mean quick. Under 4.0 0-60 is fast.
Everything else checks out. Give them a couple years and we can decide if Godmachine or not.
IMO I'd still get a focus RS

>looks good
looks like a fourteen's year old wet dream

>type r gay FWD and ugly
>focus RS not gay AWD and so sexy you can bust nuts to it all day

>looks good

Meh.

2019 Veloster "N" will actually look better and be just as fast with all the same shit.

No.

infact I'm going to screen cap your post so I can laugh at you later

pretty sure most fourteen year olds hate this car.. definitely more of a 24 year old's wet dream. it's ugly as shit and kids have good taste, unlike 20-30 year olds.

If you colored that camo green, this would just be an angry pepe, but I think it looks fantastic still. Can't wait to see how this turns out, I just wish it was awd/rwd

honestly have seen it in action.
Nothing to scoff at.
I used to hate honda but now that I started racing I hate honda but respect the civibs.

Shame its FF but at least it drives like AWD somehow.

The i30 N already has 276hp from the "Performance Pack" variant of the 2.0T 4-banger. Adaptive dampers. LSD. Independent Rear Suspension. And tuned on the Burgerking. All for 25k (with automatic 3-5k incentives because no Korean car has yet to sell for full asking price in America, ever)

And the Veloster is literally a reskinned i30...

Kek

huh

>looks good

"no"

>looks good

ya almost had it

Styling looks like complete shit. That alone is enough for me to never pay a red cent for one.

I'll wait until EK Type-Rs are legal for US import if I want a "hot" Civic.

>buying an ecoboost
>buying a mustang
>any year

Except the type R doesn't have penis windows.

And be instantly forgettable. With no real aftermarket. Nobody cares. Korean cars have no racing pedigree. Until one wins a world Rally title or Lemans or F1 or some shit, nobody cares.

I assure you it is on nobody's radar except broke people who have to settle for it.

Holy shit you just opened my eyes

why does this look insanely less goofy than this

Have you seen a Veloster in real life? They're butt ugly and all around weirdly proportionate. I actually prefer the styling of the Civic to the Veloster.

Veloster is intentionally weirdly proportioned.

Civic seems unintentionally just a complete mess. There's acres more fake plastic vents on the Civic.

>This car was made to look like shit so its okay that it looks like shit

I agree about the fake vents, but the car still looks 100x better than a Veloster. And besides, Honda actually has aftermarket support so you could swap those out for a few bucks, but there will be no fixing the Hyundai and it's penis windows.

fail wheel drive

Nigger you'd have to buy a whole front fascia custom to "fix" the Civic.

Pop off the fake panels and replace. Swap the bumper at most.

Even if you don't do anything, it's still better than the shitty Veloster.

You know a car that's faster that gets better currently on sale?

Those windows are not penis windows. These are

For the kind of car it is, the Type R's look is very appropriate, or in other words, good.
RS is good and AWD is the superior platform, but it looks like an cheap angry imitation of an aston martin wearing a retainer.
But at least the RS looks better than this. The headlamp design and the front line of the hood are pretty good.. but oh man that bumper just shy of a disaster. That squared off back and awkward curves don't contribute anything good either.

Yeah except 0-60 in 5.5 and it objectively does not look good.

>fast
>shits on all the $40k sport cars
These are the only parts that I find questionable.

>shits on all the $40k sport cars
I can get a used but low-milage Porsche 997 Carrera for that kinda money - and I'm German, so it'd be not even THAT expensive to maintain. [image = actual car, currently on sale for $39k]

>$40k
wat
for the money you can get a 2 times faster ZL1 Camaro, can't you?
not even a fan of amerishit cars btw.

*teleports in front of you*

Pssh.. nothin personnel, kid....

>fast
No
>reliable
No
>practical
Just like any other sedan/hatchback, nothing special
>looks good
FUCK no
>shits on all the $40k sport cars
Absolutely not. And if a "sports" car costs $40k, then it's not a sports car.

>Absolutely not. And if a "sports" car costs $40k, then it's not a sports car

I agree with everything else but you can buy sports car for even cheaper

WHy wouldn't it be reliable?

Camaro ZL1 is $60k

A C7 Z06 will get 23 mpg on the highway without hybrid bullshit.

>Cheap

Kek

>dragging around all that extra VAG pretend AWD crap
>only a second faster than the nip rocket

also everyone on here hates the new type R because the OP likes it.

All vent on the front looks functionnal though

the 23 miles it moves without leaking oil or overheating

the 21 MPG i'm talking about is city.

Stay BTFO that a hybrid 3.5 twin turbo gets less MPG than a poorly made supercharged v8.

It only gets 22 highway and the Z06 can get 17/29 on the EPA meme rating.
