With bc and your passive, it's like he has an armor pen item, only that because it's reduction and not penetration, everyone gets these 45% including your ad top laner and your adc. If you can play it somehow, itd be better if you instead picked vi and built the same but I haven't made it work. Downsides in non-tank-melting situations were too big.

Yeah, it's possible that Zed was originally fighting for good intentions, but the shadow magic is slowly corrupting his mind and body into something demonic, and he's struggling to control these evil or power-addiction urges. That's how the old Zed=Nocturne theory became popular in the first place.

Either way, I doubt that Zed is killing off vastayah and sapping away their life essence just for power-grabbing reasons alone, at least initially. I would assume that he believes he needs their power in order to stop a bigger threat. Rioters did confirm that post lore-retcon Zed does care about Ionia at large, but he has no issues killing people if he feels that's the only way he can achieve his goals.

Time will tell I guess. But after the new Zaun and Demacia lore, I'm just gonna wait and see what they do before jumping to conclusions.
