There are absolutely zero(0) reasons you should summon in dark souls unless you're a weak-willed shitter. Most hosts are absolutely pure garbage, and if they aren't pure garbage(but still garbage) they're specifically summoning to gank invaders which puts them right there with sunfags.

Important to know the difference between the two.
Sunbros are there to help, they usually only put signs down before the bosses, and genuinely want to help people get through the game. If they see a host seed a world and otherwise sit around to gank, they will BC out.
Sunfags are degenerates. They never have their signs down at boss gates, only placing their signs down in high pvp areas. They have a healing spell equipped and a blessed shield + regen ring ready. Their only goal is to gank invaders and be as faggy as possible.
Sufags are absolute shitters, in both pvp and pve. If you catch one alone kill him asap.
>Reds
Most reds are just looking to brawl, expecting a 2v1 or 3v2. Reds are typically good at pvp because they actually enjoy invading. Might BC out at the first sign of bullshit.
>Blues
Either some poor cuck duped into farming for ears because he doesn't have collectors edition, or someone who actually wants to be a blue and 'protect' host.
90% chance to be absolute shit at pvp
>Purples
Epic memers. These are the ones doing le ebin troll characters and funny builds
Usually harmless, but are typically good players.
>Duelist
Duelist come in all forms, but for the most part they are honorable veterans looking to fight on even ground. This does not apply to casters, they are sub-humans.

Active duelist are by far the best players in the game. When invading they're most likely to be a Red or Purple.

I don't even think raw matters at all in pvp now that prisoner's chain is even better than it was before at low sl. Unless you're talking about really low level builds you should just use heavy and put those extra points from prisoner's chain into str.

Guys, please. Give me your characters you had the most fun playing through the game as. I can't finish any of the recent characters I made because they're all based on really flat themes that I grow tired of quickly.

I don't even regularly invade and this is what I wanted. Running through the game solo on NG+7 with a dried finger on really shows how detestable reds are as people, but there were a few cool ones.

However, every time a cowardly red ran off into mobs I'd have to pop a seed to get them to come back and fight, but it'd last for hours, and every subsequent red would see the seed symbol and assume the worst.

Now it lasts long enough to deal with cowards and then promptly fucks off so that the next red doesn't have to pay for the sins of the last.

Some accounts are just permanently fucked in that regard. On my main Steam account, I've been summoned 2 times in total, over 700 hours of playtime. I've had on the covenant badge a lot too.
Then I made a family shared account and that one gets literally non-stop blue summons.

I did it up to sl 50 and up to lothric castle by leveling only INT. Killed almost everything in 1 to 3 spells besides Aldrich.

When you give every heavy-ish weapon a guaranteed two hit combo, maybe more, on top of hyperarmor and insane damage, then buff away their only drawback, shitters will flock to them.
