Any tips for getting gud with Tracer? I just end up getting super frustrated playing her most of the time because her guns have a kinda wonky spray pattern that's not exactly predictable and she gets 1 shotted or soft countered by most champs in the game, I always seem to get 1 dinked by lucky McCrees or Hanzos and probably the most infuriating blown up by Soldier Pulse Rockets that are literally better than my ult as a regular skill.

Reminder comp is a shit fest during events.
it's trying to match people to your z-level or some shit when you hook them from above or below, so instead of hooking them and being assured they'll just move in a straight line toward you (if you're looking at them as you hook them) they will do 90% of that and then whip up or down last second
Don't get me wrong when I'm doing good with Tracer she's a blast but in this day and age it seems that 90% of the cast isn't efficient at all. Why play Tracer, when you can play Genji and have less counters and more impact, why play McCree when you can play Soldier and be 100% needed and useful in all team comps.
Tracer or McCree are by no means bad characters, on the contrary they can be great in the right hands. I just have to shake my head at the fact that the skull ceilings are so high that it's almost more effort than it's worth to play them over other characters outside of Master/GM/Top-500 play.
Truly the most horrific creation in Overwatch.

However, we do know for a fact Reyes did not act alone. Here is how Jack sees the event:

Whether Reyes was set up, things went out of control, and who the outside attacker was is yet to be said. But certainly something very fishy is going on.
Get closer before you shoot
Dodge before you get hit, don't try to react with your blinks (unless of course you're escaping a surprise)
Ult has a bigger aoe if it isn't a stick (citation needed)
Blink mid reload do when exit the blink you are ready to shoot again immediately, your goal is not exactly to kill but to be a never-ending annoyance, if you can one clip someone though you're doing great
Work on your tracking aim and go for high chest to neck area, your spread will crit for you
Go into training and work on your blink adjust, which is how quickly you can relocate your target after you blink
Learn how to remember where you were 3 seconds ago
Most important though, blink management, you want to have them all in a fight and you only want to recall as an absolute last resort
Avoid: Winston, Symmetra
McCree can be baited into flashing and then you just have to kill him faster than he can headshot you
