Sky couldn't counter-kill anyone before she lost the 72 power. She never had enough of it to matter in the first place.

BUFFS WHEN?

One thing a lot of people overlook with Kyoko is that she is one of the few strikers who can reliably activate all four of her chains at once while using a normal ardor team.

The quad chain gives her:
+20%hp
+20% defense
+30% more hp
+30% attack
+10% more attack
+10% crit rate
+10% action speed
+10% reflex

This is assuming your ardor team has players like victoria, DQ (or Yuri) and are fighting enemies like Silk or Patricia.

Compare that to the dogshit chains that William has (watch out Sam, Tyler and Elliot!) or Sharr (Noa or fucking Fuse Ro).

Nera has two speed passives.

Sky also has a speed passive, so Nera is only ahead by 15% speed and even then with Sky's base stats Nera would be slightly behind

Difference in base stats means 60 vs 64 AS.

Nera should still be slightly faster, but not fast enough to make a difference from an RNG starting AB perspective.

yes it is good. Iti s more of a tactical combat RPG disguised as a soccer match, where the objective is to be the first to kill the enemy commander (the goalkeeper).

It only looks like cute girls and dragons and demons playing soccer, but it is actually intergalactic war.

Also unlike other combat rpg type mobage, you don't just stack big numbers and bash into other teams with big numbers, with the biggest number winning. They borrow some soccer mechanics like passing to help bypass heavily defended parts of the battlefield (soccer field). Tactics and team skills working together matter more.

They also have been constantly reworking older players to try and keep them competative. There is "pay to win" like any game, but even old and busted players get new life and the entire metagame can change patch to patch.

You will get some salty "muh overpowered instant win player combo was nerfed so this game now sucks" replies but just ignore them.
