Just started playing here on Veeky Forums. Played a few rounds of IIA. You guys give other servers a hard time but there is about the same amount of greytidery/shittery on this server as on others. The main difference I noticed is that the players who do their jobs do them very well compared to other servers. Your Medbay staff during the rounds I played were competent to the point it almost looked like they were going to fight eachother over who got to clone me. On TG the doctors would have stripped me for my shit and dumped me outside of cloning. Might have a 50/50 shot at a geneticist cloning me 10m later

how do you take people hostage?

The /ss13g/ card game has 2 types of card

Player cards: Each card is based off a specific player or group of players, these cards carry two values. (You)'s and Deflection, the cards use their (You)'s to attack another player cards deflection card value, one (You) reduces their deflection by one. (You)'s do not have to be all targeted to one player card, they can be split to multiple cards at once with each being hit for one (You). When a player cards deflection rating reaches 0 it is moved to the banned pile of that player.

Event cards: These cards usually take effect instantly and each do something different. They are based off events in /ss13g/ history. An example would be "Nuke 'em Nuke" which reduces all player cards in the "metaclub" catergory's deflection rating by 4 but increases their (You) value by 4, most event cards will carry a risk/reward opportunity that allows for a smart player to come out ahead whilst less strategic players dont reach their full potential.

The player or the face has a deflection rating of 20 and can only be hit by player cards' (you)'s when their field is free of player cards. You may not hit the face on your first two turns.

Every turn you draw 1 card, some event cards will let you draw more.

Every turn begins with a drawing of a card, you then place up to two cards, after that you designate where your player cards' (You) values are attacking and then you end your turn so the next person can have theirs.

It is a two player game, you decide who goes first with a coin flip.

There will be no min or maximum amount of cards in your deck, experiment and find what works best for your deck.

every admin, every coder and most known ckeys will have their own cards aiming for a card pool of at least 50

Have diona move at something like 2.5x their current speed, around 60% human speed, then make hyperzine toxic to them. Tone down their regen a fair bit and lower their vulnerability to fire. Boom, balanced.

Nuke 'em Nuke should return all cards in play to the deck and regardless of who had what and how many, deal them back out in equal amounts rounded down.

Emag should be able to convert a card to your side but cause the opponent to draw a card(Subversion/Validhunter arrives)

Ick in Ock: Lets you view the next three cards for draw one by one;

If you take none, and only look at two cards things proceed normally

If you take the first card and choose not to continue looking, you lose your next turn(Icked in the Ock 15 minute ban)

If you choose to look to the 3rd card, you MUST draw the 4th and lay face up; If a Metaclub member is this card, gain the three cards but the Metaclub card is burned for the game(Perma).

If it is NOT a Metaclub member, reshuffle the four cards, and skip the next three turns(Perma'd)

Each of these three turns, draw a card; if you draw a VPN, your Perma ends and normal play resumes.

So I've always wondered, is the arrivals shuttle (or any shuttle that docks with the station) manned? They don't really look it. I'm wondering whether I should put a cockpit on the shuttle, or just make it look like it's an unmanned autopilot sort of deal with no real cockpit.
