w-why does the faction change the answer

Baine got removed from Highmountain to make the zone "neutral". Horde was to get Baine, Alliance was to get Brann. There was also something with Wrathion but that's unrelated.
Baine was a key character in the story with Mayla and how he was to help her overcome her doubts and become the leader for her people. But now he's gone, and Mayla's story just kinda ends very abruptly with her just gaining the confidence out of nowhere.
There was absolutely zero reason for Baine to be cut out of Highmountain, and I know for a fact that he won't appear for the rest of the expansion, unless he gets a novel, which is extremely unlikely.
Meanwhile Magatha's back and we just sorta accept it.

You say that like I don't know how bullshit it is for Blizzard to just homogenize the Sunwalkers into straight up Tauren Paladins.
There are a few Sunwalker weapons, namely the Greatsword of the Sunwalker, which is kinda the only one. Aponi and Dezco are the only notable Sunwalkers, and even they talk about the Light.
Tauren were the first Druids.
Perhaps not on par with Malfurion and the modern Druidism, but they were Druids nonetheless.
