some people probably just like getting all of their items themselves. its challenging i guess if say you wanna get a rune axe and can't just buy it dirt cheap off of any guy you come across

a normal player exercising self-control has the same amount of challenge though, except that when he gets that rune axe himself he can make money and help others with mats. ironmemes live in a bubble, they may as well be bots.

Tell me why an ironmeme isn't an interesting challenge I'd really like to see people explain themselves instead of giving meme responses. It's no different than giving yourself specific rules while playing any other game. A person wants to play metal gear solid without killing any enemies even though its a self imposed rule does that make them bad people too

A better example is someone having the self-imposed rule of no killing and taking that into metal gear online, which still doesn't make them "bad people" but his team is going to be a man down for little to no benefit.

Yeah I can understand that its a multiplayer game but any player can get "everything" done in runescape without help so it doesn't really affect anyone if an ironman wants to solo the game at least that is how I look at it. Normal players lose out on a potential trading partner but ironmemes with spare items that they do not need can still trade them over sort of

One thing I would honestly want changed is ironman dropped items cannot be picked up by normals. Was it because of an exploit or something? If you kill an ironman in wildy can you even pick up their items?

But I can buy a rune axe at 41 WC on an Ironman. I can do a lot of things I would have never known about had I not started a do-it-yourself account. By just playing off the GE you skip a lot of this game's content.
Is a lot of it shit? Of course. This game is shit. But playing optimally is a lot more interesting when the best option isn't to insert your credit card into the game.

your arguments are even weaker if you take osrs into account because there you can easily reach pure afk max out mode without any effort at all, regardless of your trade restrictions

you can disregard the osrs meme auction house and it still can apply to vscape

here for instance you can spend a few hours mining pess, whack a few rock crabs to 70 attack and buy yourself a whip relatively quick. an ironmeme would need to put work into slayer to get the item. if you're smart you can trade and skip lots of content that ironmemes cannot

And where in this self discovery did you feel the need to advertise yourself in yell, or talk to everyone on the server? You can't trade with anyone, or do anything for anyone, really. Would you be worse off not shitposting while you play by yourself?
