After playing ds1 (spells doing pretty good damage without using buff rings which don't even exist), I played ds2 and all the spells are shit. Why do I have to grab 4 rings to enhance my magic? In ds1 all I needed was rings for attunement slots but now I need all kinds of shit to do as much damage as those melee guys.
