Regardless, the answer is drop your companions (multi,cats,shakas whatever), play solo exclusively and watch speedruns to gain an understanding of how to play optimally. I'm not saying emulate them, but you can learn a lot from watching. Everybody who genuinely wants to improve should follow the above and is welcome here. We just don't need more carried shitters.

Tips for fighting hyper ssol? All I know is that when he is airborne he will fire a max of 3 shots before landing and that when he roars midfight he will followup with that back-to-air fireball attack. I still end up getting wrecked by the super nova attack and proper flash bomb timings are a mystery to me
