Had like 2 units of naginata monks and some yari ashigaru hold off 2 whole stacks in a shogun 2 siege before.

The battle went down to the last single fucking monk, who was all that I had left and was holding his shit against like 150 dudes scattered across several really damaged units.

I thought it was over for sure, but he was somehow fucking their shit up.

Then warcry came off cooldown.

And they fucking routed and I won.

1 Motherfucking monk vs 150 dudes.

I was pissed off because the monk unit got destroyed after the battle because there weren't enough people left in it.

Infantry do shit damage against minotaurs. They are only there to tie them up so your short-range units can shoot them until they fall over. Use Quarrlers to snipe out their wearker archers, and a line of stretched thunders behind your infantry to shoot the minotaurs.

1-2 slayers are mandatory in most of my dwarf armies.

Slayer King bonus is actually irrelevant sometimes because they can easily hit the max melee attack vs. monsters & cav

Azhag is also dead by lore, but he still managed to get into the game.
