So I heard that there was a patch for Andromeda to make people look less robotic. Did it actually make things look better?

It added some life to the eyes and made the face textures less awful, but the only actual animation improvement seems to be the my face is tired conversation.

So what purpose did making a fool of himself serve? He could've just given her all that shit without confessing. She still would've been killed by her husband because he was jealous of her popularity and power too. So it's a futile action. Which according to the devout, does not exist in the Maker's design.

I think it only takes 1 health bar away from most if not all Bitterblack bosses.
In case of the Ur-Dragon, you can instantly destroy one of its hearts with it. If you fuck it up and only normally hit its body, it does nothing.

I played as a mage and gave up after reaching the big city area (where you deliver the Serpent's head). The escort quest were annoying and I wasn't impressed by the combat. Which class is considered the most fun in Dragon's Dogma? I might give it another try.

Mage is probably the most boring, although I didn't really play it much. Melee is far, far more satisfying. There are hybrid builds that you can unlock after a certain point too that are pretty neat. Been a while since I played so I can't recall exactly how they're unlocked though.

Personally I had a blast as an assassin, starting as fighter or strider. Mystic knight seems popular too.

Of course it's boring then lmao, even though DD has one of the more fun mage combat styles, but only later on when you get all the cool shit.

I picked Strider and had the time of my life, so you could try that. It's especially satisfying to upgrade to Assassin after that because you unlock a combat ability that lets you knock an enemy in the air, then make it explode.

I picked a mage because of all the great looking abilities, but they felt slow to cast. I will try a melee class and see how it goes.

The only thing mage has going for it is that it looks cool.

Fighter for the first few levels gives you some good starting stats (lots of health, irrc), I'd suggest that.

Also playing with a controller is comfy as fuck is that's an option for you.

It wouldn't exist. Solas would have gone alone in search for Flemeth and once he unlocked his power- dead Cory. He would have saved the Orb from breaking too.

Subjective, but I had the most fun in my Origins first playthrough as an elf-mage. I wish I could forget everything about it and play it again.
