You're right DaS3 feels just awful.
It lacks proper recovery and transition animations, the character bobs up and down way to abruptly when running over rubble, changing directions make the feet go full noodly and then worst of all the missing animation in pvp.
It's worse than DaS2.

Anyone else find the Dreg Heap to be kind of a dull area?

It's not terrible or anything but it's kind of a boring place to play through after your first time, most of the enemies are repeated from the base game or repeated later on in the DLC except for the Angels, and the boss is kind of generic.

Why did they decide to add that dumb veil over the face? It didn't have it in DS2, it just cast a shadow over you. It looks dumb now.

Anyone know how to get a DualShock4 to work with DS1? The game absolutely refuses to launch (freezes at black screen during startup) as long as the DS4 is even plugged into the PC, doesn't matter if DS4Windows is running or not, nor how it is configured. Works perfectly fine with DSIII and every other game I own.

That's true. Has anyone tried WoG now that it's sped up? I hear it casts faster than lightning storm, but lightning storm has that nice after effect that punishes people just trying to roll into you to dodge the first hit.
